^This is an alternate universe where people are divided into Dom's and subs, at birth you can tell through the babies blood if they are a sub or a Dom, to double check this decision they will take another test at 11 years old.
^From the age of 4-11 all children are taught in the same schools, the basic knowledge how to read and write etc. then after the final test at 11 subs and Dom's are split into different schools to prepare them for their duties.
^At 18 you finish school and get your final identification as a Dom or sub, this is like a passport, you need it to travel countries and in restaurants etc.
^You don't need a Dom or a sub to survive but as a sub it is easier with a Dom.
^Doms have more rights and freedoms than subs
^There is a helpline if anything goes abusive.
^Switches are a thing but very rare, they go to a Dom school from 11-14 and a sub school from 15-18, they have the choice to either get a sub or get a Dom, some will get both.
^Basically it is like real life D/s relationships however it is normalised and there are laws for them and Dom's have privilege in everyday tasks
