Vivica sat in the cold bus, rocking back and forth in her seat. She was terrified. No, more than that, petrified really. She had been handcuffed to a pole next to her seat, and her wrists hurt from useless struggling. Viv's mascara ran down her cheeks and her blonde almost white hair was done in messed up pigtails. Two gaurds sat watching her, batons out as if any moment she were going to pounce on them. 'Where are they taking me?' she questioned in her mind. where pretty' one of her best friends hissed back.  'No where pretty.' one of the voices in her head answered. Vivica looked out the window with a small sob. They were on a paved road. It looked like a pretty desolate area, like a desert. In the distance she could see what seemed to be a huge abandoned building. Vivica looked over to the gaurds and asked in a shaky, small voice. The one on the right screamed "Shut your trap!". Viv jumped in fear. Why were they being so cruel? Why would her uncle do this to her? Vivica sobbed once again and closed her sad eyes.

It felt like five minutes when she was abruptly woken up. "Get up, freak!" the gaurds voice said stiffly. Vivica stumbled up out of her seat, but she was still handcuffed to the pole. The gaurd took off the hand cuffs to set her free, only to place them back on her. She was pushed out of the bus, to look up at the building that she'd seen before her nap. It was large and now seemingly not empty at all. There was a huge courtyard with men and women milling around inside. Security watched them with guns strapped on their backs. The front of the building jad faded letters on its top. Viv squinted to look closer. 'The Asylum For The Criminally Insane' it read. She felt a shiver down her spine. An asylum? 'How sick... be sure to kill your dear uncle Chris if you see him again... you're probably gonna die though.' one of her friends said. Vivica frowned at this, and the gaurds pushed her foward toward the steel doors, and into the fences.

Inside it was a horrible place. The air smelled of vomit and blood, and screaming could be heard from several directions. The hallways were gray dark with white tiled floors and crawling with strange mad scientist looking doctors. Vivica breathed heavily to keep herself calm. The gaurds moved her into a corner where a pudgy nurse had bins of prison looking clothes. "Inside the changing room" she instructed "take off all your clothing, give up all your belongings and put these on." the lady held out the ugly gray clothes. Viv reluctantly took them, and walked over to the stall. She stepped inside and slowly closed the  curtain to strip herself of all her belongings. She slipped on the prison suit and sighed. It was horrid looking. 'Ha! You look like a sadistic clown!' evil laughter erupted in her mind. Vivica's feet were cold without out socks, and the tile made it even worse.

Once she was done, the gaurds led her up a flight of metal stairs to an elevated pathway. A desk with a man sitting at the end waited for her. "Vivica A. Porexia?" he questioned in a nasally voice, looking over at her from his pointed up nose. She silently nodded. "Welcome to the Asylum" the man said with a crooked grin. "Your patient number is 1880, you'll be staying in room 309."

Vivica was about to ask him something but he interrupted saying "You have been charged with criminal records due to mental illnesses. You are too dangerous to be around regular civilians. You are a freak who deserves punishment." Vivica sobbed at this and shook her head stubbornly. No, no she wasn't crazy. This was her best friend's fault. But she couldn't get the words out to defend herself. Viv was guided through two swinging double doors. She tried once or twice to fight back against the gaurds hands, but the bruise on her shoulder made her unable to even think of doing so again. Vivica read the numbers on the empty cells she passed. 306, 307, 308, 309...

She was shoved into the dark cell and fell to her knees. The bar door was closed behind her, and Viv heard hard footsteps walking away. She balled herself up and covered her face with her hands. Vivica cried hysterically, feeling like she'd been shattered from the inside out. 'You are so going to die...'
