He took a deep breath to calm his nerves before he knocked on the door. He could do this. His dad couldn't sense that he was nervous, then he would understand that something was up. The door opened and he was pulled inside quickly.
"Did anyone follow you here?"

"No. Hi dad. How are you?" Louis answered and smiled, hoping it would be convincing.

His dad relaxed.
"Hi kid, I'm good. How's that fancy school of yours treating you?"

"Great. It has helped me a lot. Thanks for sending me there." Louis said, actually meaning it.

"Of course."

"I had a hard time coping at first since you turned me." Louis said and took a seat.

His dad didn't reply. He just shrugged his shoulders. Louis tried again.
"Why did you turn me?"

"What do you mean?" His dad asked.

"I have a hard time understanding why?" Louis pushed.

His dad looked irritated.
"You're Peter Pan. You loved that story growing up."

"That's just a fairytale dad! Peter Pan was afraid to grow up. I never was. I was looking forward to it. I can't now. I won't get any older. You took that for me. I'm cursed! Everyone around me will die and I will still be stuck in this body, eighteen forever. How could you do that to me? Your own son." Louis argued upset.

"You have always been a drama queen. It's a gift. Others have been thankful, but not you." His dad snorted.

"Others? So you really have turned others?" Louis questioned.

His dad glared at him suspiciously.
"What's up with all the questions. It sounds like you're trying to get a confession out of me. What are you up to? Nick and Eleanor said that you would turn me in but I told them off. I didn't think you would have the balls for that, but maybe I was wrong."

"You were wrong." Louis said and stared his dad down.

His father looked furious.
"How could you do that to me?"

"How could you do this to me? Even worse, how can you continue doing it to others?" Louis shouted back.

"I turned you out of love." His dad growled.

"You have a really twisted look on love then. I only have one thing to say. Avocado." Louis said and smiled.

His father looked like a question mark but a second later the door was bust open and the room was filled with werewolves.
"You're under arrest!"

"You have no proof." Louis's dad growled.

Louis stood up and lifted his shirt to show his dad the recording device. His dad launched himself at him with a shout but he was held back by someone that Louis presumed was Liam's dad.
"You did good Louis. Wait outside."

Louis hurried outside. Harry hadn't been able to stay at the cafe and had driven to the motel. He jumped out of the car and came running up to him and threw himself in his arms.
"Thank God you're okay."

They watched as Louis's dad was dragged outside in handcuffs. Louis broke down crying. It was his dad after all. Harry comforted him. They returned to Louis's family home and sat down with his mum and told her everything. She was upset that he had put himself in danger but proud for what he had done and sad that he had to do it.

His birthday would be one to remember this year. They celebrated a quiet Christmas and then they went to visit Harry's family as well. Louis was nervous but Harry's mum and sister welcomed him with open arms.

When they returned to school the boys were waiting for them in their dorm, eager to hear how everything went. They stayed up late talking and when Harry and Louis went to bed Louis wrapped his arms around his boyfriend and fell asleep with a light heart.

His dad got convicted a couple of weeks later. He testified in court but the recording of their conversation in that motel room was the proof that put his dad away for a long time. Harry was right by his side the whole time.

They went back to school and the years went by. They stayed strong as a couple. On Harry's eighteenth birthday, they celebrated big time.
"Now we're the same age." Harry smiled.

"Technically I would be two years older than you." Louis chuckled.

Harry seemed nervous. They were laying in bed together after a whole day of celebration.
"Lou? I want to ask you something." Harry said.

Louis supported his head and looked down on his amazing boyfriend.
"Ask away."

"I love you and I know that I will love you for the rest of my life." Harry said.

"I love you too and I will continue to love you many lifetimes after...well, never mind." Louis answered.

"Will you marry me?" Harry asked all of a sudden.

Louis stared at him in surprise and then he teared up.
"Of course."

Harry smiled and kisses him. When they needed to come up for air Harry continued.
"You once said that you wished that you could grow old with me. I know how much your immortality hurts you."

"I will love you when your grey and old as well. Don't worry about that." Louis smiled.

"I know you will. What I'm trying to say is that I talked to Zayn about it and he has found a way for you to get older." Harry answered and bit his lower lip.

Louis stared at him in disbelief.
"How?" He whispered.

"A potion. You don't have to drink it. You really have to think this through. You would give up eternal life." Harry said.

"I don't want eternal life Haz. Are you telling me that there's a way for me to grow old with you?" Louis said excitedly.

"Yes." Harry answered simply.

Louis burst out in tears.
"Thank you!"

They got married that summer and invited all their friends and family. Even Louis's teacher Mr. Magnus showed up. They had an outdoor wedding and there wasn't a dry eye among their guests when they said their I do's. The wedding party continued all through the night and when they finally withdrew to their honeymoon suite Harry picked up a small bottle.
"Is that the potion?" Louis gasped.

"Yes. You'll have to drink it every year to get a year older. It will be my birthday present for you for as long as we both live. Are you sure about this Lou? You don't have to do this." Harry said.

Louis smiled and pecked his lips before he took the bottle from Harry's hand and opened it. He was still smiling when he drank the potion without hesitation and a couple of crinkles appeared by his eyes as he swallowed it. Harry gasped in surprise and spun him around so Louis was facing a mirror. Louis stared at his reflection.
"Great! Crinkles!" He said ironically.

"I love those crinkles by your eyes when you smile. It's my new favorite thing ever." Harry grinned and wrapped his arms around Louis's waist and rested his chin on his shoulder.

"And I love you." Louis answered and turned around to kiss his husband.

They would face the world together, knowing that not everyone would accept their relationship but as long as they had each other they would be fine. More than fine.
