Well, as most of the writers are doing on here, I've decided to post some poetry. Don't be fooled, I am in no way a poet. But, yet again, I'm doing a poetry unit in English, and I have to write at least eight poems for this one project. So, I've decided to post them on here. Lucky you! These are not exactly serious poems, because I'm horrible with poetry. They're more like laugh-so-hard-because-they-suck-that-bad poetry. If you get what I mean. This is the first one.
By the way, I wrote this in geometry, instead of paying attention (which is okay, because I practically teach my teacher anyways xD), and I didn't try too hard in writing it.
I Wanna Hear a Poem
I wanna hear a poem
That makes people laugh.
I wanna hear a poem
About a giraffe.
I wanna hear a poem
That makes people cry.
I wanna hear a poem
About what happens when you die.
I wanna hear a poem
About how life's unfair.
I wanna hear a poem
On how I just don't care.
I wanna hear a poem
On why I must be a 'poet'.
I wanna hear a poem
On why I must know it.
I wanna hear a poem
About how god's a douchebag
I wanna hear a poem
About how he makes me gag.
I wanna hear a poem
About a broken heart
I wanna hear a poem
About how it fell apart.
I wanna hear a poem
About teachers that suck
I wanna hear a poem
About a killer duck
I wanna hear a poem
That actually matters
I wanna hear a poem
That's not just useless chatter
I wanna hear a poem
That I can easily understand
I wanna hear a poem
That's not crappy and bland
I wanna hear a poem
That makes me think
I wanna hear a poem
Even if it makes my heart sink.
