Run Kara, Run

The aftermath of the power swap that Melting Point gave to our lovers. Kara has Barry's speed and Barry has all of Kara's powers and her DNA. 

Alura, Barry, Caitlin, Cisco, Ralph, and Kara were in the speed lab, Kara skidded to a stop in the middle. She giggled like a little girl as she felt so alive, she was buzzing with speed.

"This is amazing!" Kara giggled.

Barry smiled as he carefully landed on the ground.

"Yeah, it is."

Kara's lightning trail was pink, much like Alura, but it was leaning towards being white instead of being deep pink, and also Alura's lightning trail had hints of orange inside of it as well. Caitlin walked into the room.

"Well, I've run every test I can think of. EKG, cellular regression synthesis, brain chemistry, and dark matter confirm it. Kara is a Speedster."

"So, what about Barry?" Ralph asked.

"Um... Everything that was a part of Kara is now a part of you, and everything that was a part of you is now a part of Kara, so your speed, your connection to the Speed Force, the dark matter in your system... It's all inside Kara, and basically you two switched everything, DNA, powers, anything you can think of," Caitlin informed Barry.

"Can you-" Kara started to ask.

"Reverse it? We don't know, but we can try," Alura told her mother. 

"So Matthew Kim isn't just removing DNA... He's transferring it to anybody he touches!" Cisco concluded.

"He's not getting rid of Meta's, he's creating new ones," Ralph added.

"That means that Devoe is gonna come after him sooner or later," Alura told them.

"If Devoe gets Matthew's abilities, he could take away all our powers," Barry told all of them.

"Unless we get him on our side first. Then he can remove Devoe's DNA." Kara told Barry.

"But would that work?" Ralph asked.

"Yeah, it probably would. As best I can tell Matthew's abilities work by melting down the highly concentrated bonds between DNA, which makes them totally pliable so he can extract them and then infuse somebody else with the exact same DNA."

"And who named him originally, do you know Alura?" Cisco asked, Alura smiled.

"You did Cisco, you named him melting point," Alura told him, Cisco reached for a notebook and pencil.

"Gotta write that down," He muttered.

"Okay, great, so you guys figure out how to get this Mr. Melting point in the same room as Devoe and not get his brains sucked out. I'm gonna go get a couple of beers and go back to my room," Ralph told them, he walked out.

"You know, somebody out there has the powers of the meta that robbed the bank right now. We need to find them as much as we need to find Matthew," Barry told the rest.

"I got it," Cisco said as he got to work.

"I'll see if there's a way to reverse this," Caitlin told them as she walked out to go to work. Alura, Barry, and Kara were left in the lab.

"Well... Until then what do we do? I mean Reign is out there somewhere, and there are other World Killers out there as well," Kara said filled with worry.

"We train," Alura told them both. Kara and Barry looked at her and nodded.

"Okay," Kara said, she looked at Barry who nodded.
