The Speedster and the Kryptonian- 1000 Years

The Reckoning

Previously:

"IM GOING TO PULL OUT YOUR HEART AND EAT IT MYSELF!" Reign yelled. Alura let out a strangled breath as Reign's fingers tore into her chest. But then Alura's eyes lit up and she turned her head to meet Reign.

Alura blasted her with all of her might, both of them were engulfed in a wave of pink light. Reign stumbled back...

Her left arm was missing...

Reign stumbled back, she looked at the burnt charred stump that was her left arm. Reign was in total shock. Alura froze and didn't do anything. Reign blasted Alura with her heat vision, casting her to the floor. Reign stomped over to where Imra was laying.

"If you defend a sinner, you must be a sinner. I will wipe away the sin of this world," She mumbled as she groaned in pain. 

Reign's eyes lit up to finish off Imra but Kara flew in the sky she hovered above Reign, Barry sped in back of her.

"I thought you were dead!" Reign shouted.

"I got better."

Kara shouted something to Barry and Barry threw a lightning bolt at Reign. Supergirl smashed into Reign, Reign rolled on the wet floor. Supergirl gasped as she saw that Reign was missing a hand. Reign picked Kara up by her cape, noticing the veins on Kara's face glowing green.

"I will kill you, then your speedster friend, and then your Kryptonian pretender!"

Reign was silenced when Kara stabbed her in the throat with the syringe filled with Kryptonite. Reign screamed in pain, her pain from her arm doubling. Reign took off away from view. Alura limped towards Kara and hugged her.

"I'm glad you're okay mom."

Suddenly Alura was pulled from her grasp, Barry turned around from helping J'onn up to see Reign grab Alura by the back of her throat and slam what was left of her arm into Alura's back. A sickening crack followed by a bloodcurdling scream erupted from Alura as she felt her spine crunch under Reign's might. Reign took off into the sky as fast as she could. Supergirl and the Flash both held Alura as she fell to the floor.

"Alura! No! Alura!" Barry frantically said as he checked her pulse, it was there but she was unconscious.

"Get her to the ship now!" Mon-El shouted.

In the 31st century ship, Alura was on a bed, her neck in a brace. She had a special fluid being pumped into her veins. Kara sat down next to Barry, Barry held her hand and held the other hand in his face. Brainy walked in.

"Well?"

"Reign fractured her l3, l4, and l5 vertebrae in her spine, her spinal cord is heavily damaged but should heal, as for the rest of her back... Reign also displaced her thoracic vertebrae, almost snapping it in half, she- she may never walk again, she has to rest."

"Barry," Kara croaked, Barry squeezed her hand.

"It's okay Kara, she'll heal, I-I didn't stop Reign, and now Alura is hurt because of me."

Barry looked down, his fist balled. Kara saw this and ran her hand on his back.

"Barry... Calm down, if you focus on revenge, it's not good for you."

Barry shrugged off her hand, he stomped towards a window, looking out of it.

"What the hell was I thinking Kara? I should have sent Alura back to the future!" Barry yelled.
