Sejun's POV

"May issue kay Gab?" Cha asked the 5 of us the next morning. It seems that she does not know about our past. Gab and I were not that showy about our relationship on Facebook before. We tend to date in the confines of the hospital or at the studio. The only people who knew about us were our family and our close friends.

Ate May, our old manager knew about Gab. Cha replaced her when Ate May resigned from ShowBT last 2020.

"Si Sejun lang may issue," Stell spoke up. I wanted to strangle Stell. He really should know when to keep his mouth shut.

Cha turned to me. "Is that true Sejun?"

I shook my head. "I don't have an issue with her," I disagreed.

"Weh?!" Stell, Josh, Ken and Justin mockingly asked me. In chorus.

I widened my eyes at them.

"I chose her because she's my friend and I trust her. What's wrong with Gab?" Cha asked. I could feel the defensive tone in her voice. She would be willing to defend Gab. She's side with Gab and not with me.

There was nothing wrong with Gab. She was perfect. In every way, in every angle. She looked glorious yesterday with her brown hair down, slightly wavy at the edges, lightly made up.

She looked stunning. She looked radiant.

I don't hate her. I could never hate her. But everytime I see her, I feel bitter about her leaving me. I thought I would never feel this because I thought my love for her would overpower the bitterness. What a scam.

I know I should not feel this way. Gab had given up our relationship for me, for my dream.

But why can't I get over this feeling? This feeling of being abandoned?

"Ate Cha," Justin started to say. "Doc Gab is-"

"She's my ex," I interrupted Justin. Better to have her hear it from me than from anyone else.

Cha's eyes widened. Her face looked so shocked.

"What?" She spluttered. "Ex? How?"

"How come you did not know, Ate? I thought Doc Gab and you were high school classmates?" Stell asked.

"Bakit? Kilala mo ba lahat ng naging ex ng high school classmates mo?" Cha retorted.

"Hindi," Stell answered.

"Oh? See?"

I rolled my eyes. I then massaged my temples. I was beginning to get a headache.

"Sejun? Ex mo si Gab? How?" Like she could not believe that Gab and I were together.

"Can we not talk about this?" I asked.

Cha was quiet. Then she nodded. "Fine. But Gab is still the doctor in charge of SB19. She should not be disqualified just because she's your ex. Right? You're both old enough to not let your personal lives get in the way of work."

Right.

We're both old enough.

"Fine." I said, offhandedly.

"But you know Sejun, you should apologize to her," Josh told me.

"Did Sejun do something?" Cha asked.

"He was mean to ate Doc Gab," Justin tattled.

I glared at Justin.

"What did you do Sejun?" Cha was going to rise in defense of her friend again. I knew that was going to happen.
