Valeria, who had been contemplating about something , finally decided to do it. She turned to Myra who was pouring her a cup of warm tea in the afternoon outside a balcony.
"Myra,"
"Yes your grace?"
"Is there a doctor?"
"Yes your grace, we have a doctor who works here at the duchy." Myra answered her question before looking at her, confused.
"Your Grace, are you sick? I'll quickly get the doctor then." she asked worriedly.
Valeria shook her head, looking at the tea in her hand. "I want to have a word with the doctor. That is all."
Myra fiddles with her fingers, unsure of what to say. She took notice of Myra's worried look and showed a small smile.
Myra who had been working for Valeria for a long time was in daze after seeing a short brief smile.
Around the evening, Valeria headed to the room where the doctor was. Myra had told her where the doctor's office was beforehand. She knocked onto the door before walking inside.
The room was a mess with papers and books all scattered around. Bottles of medicines and medical tools were the only ones that were put away neatly.
"Ah! Who's there?" a male voice spoke before brown messy hair popped up around the stacks of books at the corner of the room.
"Good evening Doctor Keith, pardon the intrusion on your studies." Valeria spoke.
"Y-y-your Grace!?" Keith quickly combed through his hair, taming it before stumbling out of his man cave he had created with stacks of books.
She took a good look at him. He had a lanky body which was hidden with a long white coat. He had brown hair and green eyes behind circle frame glasses that rested on his face.
He didn't look old and she could assume he was around her age.
"Wh-what brings you here your grace?" Keith nervously asked, pushing his glasses up.
Valeria leaned against the table that was extremely messy. She couldn't really stand how messy this place was but restraint herself from speaking about it.
"I would like to have some headache reliever medicines."
"Are you sick your grace!?" he shouted, his face had an extremely concerned look.
Valeria was never closed to the servants from the start so she didn't understand why Keith was freaking out over this.
"Yes but it's nothing bad." she waved it off like it wasn't a big deal.
Keith who heard her answer only focused on one thing. It was that she was sick. He shrieked before running around the room, scavenging for the items.
"Your grace please let me give you a quick health check!!"
"Uh.." she wanted to decline but after seeing his sparkly eyes, she gave in.
Well, she never thought of hiding her illness in the first place.
In the end, Valeria stayed until the checkup was done. She sat on the couch after pushing the books off it. Her headache was pounding against her mind but she was more focused on Keith who had a pale face ever since he began the health check on her.
His hands were trembling as he looked at all the data. Droplets of cold sweat rolled down his face down to his neck before he swallowed.
"Your..grace..." he looked up at Valeria who had a calm exterior.
