"You really got yourself into big trouble," Coyedian spoke, shaking his head.
He and Valeria were back inside her mind. She cast a glance at him. Instead of his cat form, he was in his human form, lazily lying on the floor.
No matter what form he took, Valeria still thought he was like a cat acting docile in front of its owner.
Thinking that way, she sat down as well, her legs folded. Coyedian peeked at her through one eye before stretching a bit.
"Now he knows. What are you going to do?" he questioned her.
She shrugged, "He said he wanted me to do whatever I want before I die."
Coyedian let out a whistle, "Smooth guy."
Valeria rolled her eyes at him, "There's nothing of that sort. I'm still his wife so he is being considerate."
"Eh is that so." he sarcastically answered back.
"Since he knows, he won't let you just leave to another place," he added.
She nodded at his words, "Can't be helped then."
"You know if you-"
"No." Valeria cut off his sentence, already forecasting his next words.
He pouted before grumbling silently, "You never let me finish my words."
"Because you only say the same things." she retorted back.
She didn't hear another reply from him after that. Her thoughts wandered back to her conversation with Aelius.
"He's too nice." she suddenly spoke out.
"Who? The duke?" Coyedian asked in which she nodded in return.
"I think it's because you are his wife and he likes you," he replied back.
"But before this, it wasn't like that."
"Who knows? Only time would tell."
"Probably only after I die, time would tell."
Coyedian sighed at her before extending his arm towards her, knocking his fist on her head.
Valeria didn't wince at the pain, only staring at Coyedian blankly.
"What are you doing?"
"...Never mind. It's time for you to wake up."
He snapped his fingers and everything turned black before she fluttered her eyes open. The morning sun peeked through the curtains, signalling a new day.

It was only after a week or two later, she was able to leave the house. Valeria got dressed into a hazelnut dress; it had short puffed up sleeves, a peter pan collar, and the skirt which wrapped nicely around her waist, reached up till her ankles.
Before she took a step out of her room, Aelius was standing in front of the door. She blinked and slowly nodded at him,
"...Aelius."
"Wife, good morning." he greeted, sending her a small smile.
"Shall we head to the dining room?" he asked.
Valeria cast a glance at him before replying, "Sure."
Whilst walking to the dining room for breakfast, Valeria couldn't help but think that Aelius' attitude towards her had changed.
Though it isn't very obvious.
As they reached the dining hall, Aelius pulled out the chair for her, his hand pointing over at it.
