Nya wraps her arms around Jay's torso, leaning against him and snuggling into her chest. Jay wraps his arms around her waist and hugs her back.
Nya had gone on a mission three days ago and only just returned, exhausted. It had been hard for Jay, physically being on his own and constantly craving to have Nya in his arms again.
Although, she had both Cole and Zane with her on the mission, she'd felt lonely. She needed Jay to be there with her.
Jay's nose scrunches up as an unpleasant smell raises into his nostrils. Ignoring it, he nuzzles Nya's hair.
The smell becomes stronger.
"Nya.." Jay says tentatively.
"Hm?"
"I think you need a shower."
"But, I don't wanna leave you."
"I mean..you don't have to.." Jay trails off.
It takes Nya a minute to process what he said. Once she does, she slaps his arm, but doesn't disagree.
