Nya curls up on Jay's chest in her sleep, lacing her fingers between his. Jay smiles and pecks her forehead.
"Happy birthday kitten."
A low groan and shuffle alert Jay that his Yang is waking up. Jay smiles as he watches her blink her wide, dark eyes open. Nya sits up and rubs her eyes.
"Happy birthday kitten."
Nya blinks at him. Jay smiles and pecks her. As he pulls away, Nya grabs his shirt and pulls him back, slamming her lips onto his. Jay wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her closer to him. Nya hums and wraps her arms around him.
He pulls away first, squeezing her hands. She pulls her lips into a pout, making Jay giggle. He pecks her nose.
"I'm sorry. We can carry on later, I have a surprise for you."
Sliding out from under her, he picks her up. She squeals and wraps her arms around his neck. Jay smiles and takes her downstairs into the living room.
"Close your eyes sweetheart."
Nya's eyes slide closed. Jay sits her on the sofa and runs off. Lifting her present up, he goes to her and places it on her lap. He sits next to her.
"You can open your eyes now."
Opening her eyes, they widen in surprise. Sitting on her lap, is a pale brown and white shiba inu. Nya strokes the puppy's back, smiling at the feeling of the soft fur. Jay smiles and pecks her head. Nya smiles back.
"It's a girl," Jay says, "what're you gonna call her?"
"Cookie."
Yeah...idk either. This is Cookie (thank you marsy-for the pic!)
