Prompt: stolen possession

Jay sighs and runs his hand through his hair. He'd left it on the back of his chair in his previous class and it's not there anymore.
"Where is it?"
Jay murmurs to himself, leaving the classroom.
Walking down to his last classroom, his body collides with someone else, knocking both of them to the ground.
"I'm sorry I wasn't looking where I was going."
Looking up, Jay's face to face with a tan-skinned girl, her long raven hair tied in a ponytail. Her leather jacket and ripped jeans framing her figure perfectly.
"Hello?" The girl waves her hand in front of his face.
Snapping out of his thoughts, Jay looks up. The girl's hand is extended towards him. Grabbing it, she helps him back to his feet. Looking down, he spots a hint of orange in her other hand.
"Is that my scarf?"
The girl looks down at it.
"Did you leave it in there?" She points to the room behind him.
Jay nods. She smiles and hands it to him.
"I'm Nya."
"Jay."
