Chapter 5

Bellamy's POV

We were all gathered inside the machine shop trying to form plan in order to find Octavia, Echo and Gabriel.

They were talking with each other but their voices were just background noise to me. All I could do was think about Octavia and how she disappeared from my arms. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard Clarke say my name.

"Earth to Bellamy?"

"Huh? What?"

"I asked your opinion about our plan. Oh my god Bellamy! Were you even listening? This is important. I know you're sad but mopping around won't do anything. We need to act."

Deep down I knew that Clarke was right but I couldn't get out of my head and it made me angry.

"You have no right to-"

"Um guys we've got a problem." One of the guards came through the door and cut us off.

"What is it?"

"Some people just appeared through the anomaly. They're right outside the shield and they are asking for you, Clarke."

Clarke furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"Why would they want me? We need to go meet them to see what they want."

Her voice was firm but I could tell that deep inside she was afraid of what these people might have wanted.

"Then follow me, I'll take you to them." The guard responded.

Clarke's POV

Following the guard we were finally in front of a group of people who were wearing suits.

"Why are you here? And what do you want with me?"

"We are the disciples of a greater truth, and we need your help, Clarke. Our leader believes that you are the key to winning the last war mankind will ever wage."

"The last war? What makes you think it will be the last? No war is ever the last."

"This will be the last ."

"How am I the key?"

"That is information I am not allowed to give you yet but I can give you a reason to come with us."

"And what is that?"

"Because we have your friends. If you give yourself up we won't hurt anyone."

"I need time to think about it first."

"We'll give you time but not much. Meet us back here at midnight. If you don't there will be serious consequences."

I nodded my head and turned to leave the others following close behind.

"I need to give myself up. Go where they came from and save our friends. I'll find a way to come back with them."

" No way I am not letting you do this." Bellamy argued.

"Well it's not your choice to make. You can't stop me."

Bellamy's features softened.
