Chapter 9

Bellamy's POV

"Bellamy, I hope your journey has redefined your morals." I heard as soon as I woke up from Cadogan.

"Journey? What are you going on about?"I urged him to explain.

Suddenly memories came rushing back to me-

Becca's lab.

The drop ship.

I stared wide eyed at Cadogan and he raised a knowing eyebrow.

"I'm sure that now you understand how selfish love can be someone's downfall."

"I understand."I hesitantly replied not sure where he was headed with this.

"I hope you're not hiding anything from me because of selfish love."

Oh.

"No my shepherd, I'm not hiding anything."

He looked at me as if he wanted to add more but instead he just nodded and said

"Very well."

He turned around and started to walk away.

"Wait. My shepherd there's something you should know, Clarke doesn't have the key. The flame was destroyed."

He stepped closer to me again.

"Thank you Bellamy."
And then before I knew what was happening he injected me with something and everything went black.

I jolted awake breathing heavily and immediately two people held me down.

I looked around and scanned the unfamiliar place.

"Where am I?"

Then I looked at my body.

"Who am I?"

Clarke's POV

After the lessons they separated us in different rooms. I was paired with Octavia.

I was pacing in the room thinking about everything that has happened when suddenly the screen besides the door came to life.

Both Octavia and I gasped as we saw Bellamy sitting on a chair looking weak but not physically harmed.

"My shepherd there's something you should know, Clarke doesn't have the key. The flame was destroyed."On screen Bellamy had said.

"What the fuck?" Octavia yelled

Why would he do that? I thought bitterly.

"Um- do you think that he has some sort of plan?"

"Didn't you see him? He just betrayed us!"

What are you doing Bellamy?

"No Octavia, he wouldn't do that. Maybe he was forced?"
