Bellamy's POV

"Your sister, your responsibility."

"Mum, mum!"

The little boy whisper-screamed at her as the woman, his mother, was falling asleep after her words.

"What do I do mum?"

He asked her, but it was too late as she was already asleep from exhaustion.

Realizing that, the boy put his finger in the baby's mouth to silence her.

"See I told you, it's okay, I won't let anything bad happen to you Octavia. I promise."

He comforted her, knowing very well she was far too young to understand. Maybe he was making the promise to himself.

"Ascende Superius." The woman said as she took the...flame?

The flame activated as the young girl exposed the back of her neck to the woman. Then she placed it in her head.

The girl started screaming.

I was sitting across Cadogan fiddling with my fingers from nervousness. I couldn't stop thinking about the dreams I had seen last night.

"Is there something wrong Bellamy?"

"Not really but I'm having these weird dreams."

"Dreams? Like maybe memories? If they're memories Bellamy, you need to tell me. Your memories are very valuable."

"If they're so valuable then why would you take them away?" I scoffed at him.

"For the greater good Bellamy. They're valuable but if we hadn't taken them you would've never willingly given them. Selfishly, you'd keep them to yourself."

"I understand my Shepherd."

"So?Tell me about your dreams."

"Uhm- well, one of them wasn't important for our cause. But the other, it had the flame my shepherd. And I think I saw the last person who ever had the flame. If anyone knows anything more, it's them."

"Well who is it?"

"It's a child. A teenage girl."

"Come on then tell me who!"

"Her name is Madi. I think that right now, she's still on Sanctum."

"Sanctum huh? We will prepare a team to go with you and your old friends."

"But why would they need to come?"

"If anyone knows where to find the girl it's them isn't it? They'll probably try to protect her but you, Bellamy, will find a way to make them tell you.
Why would it bother you if they came Bellamy? I don't suppose you're becoming selfish again?"

"No, of course not. I was merely worried that their presence would make it more difficult to find the girl but it is your call my Shepherd."

"Very well. Get some rest Bellamy. You have a long day ahead."
