The rest of them run out shortly after, going in the opposite direction. They make it to the ambulance, loading Cora on it, before Kali walks out. Stiles closes the ambulance door, much to Carson's dismay.
"Stiles!"
"What?"
"Derek can't fight her on his own!"
"You probably couldn't even fight a turtle right now, what difference does it make?"
"Well, it doesn't matter now, they're running."

A few minutes pass when Carson gets one of those feelings.
"What's wrong?"
"Uh, I think-Wait Cora's not breathing!" she yells.
"Do you know CPR?"
"My dad is a world-class surgeon, and my brother is in med school. It's insulting you would even ask that question," she reaches over, starting the procedure.
"Don't you have to tilt her head more?"
"If I tilted her head anymore, she'd be decapitated. Now hush," she starts mouth to mouth.
After several tries, Cora finally takes a breath. Carson cheers for a moment, before feeling a sharp pain in her head.
"What is it?"
"Something's wrong. I can't focus, I don't know who it is," she says before coughing up some blood.
"Guess that healing thing is wearing off, huh?" she sighs.
"Why are you so calm about this?" he frowns.
"I'm gonna be fine."
"Yeah and what if you aren't? Why aren't you healing anyway?" he asks, making Carson remember a conversation she had with her grandmother over the summer.
"Luna, when I say you must wear this at all times, I mean it," the woman holds up the necklace.
"Why?
"It's one of the main sources of your power. It's why you heal so fast, it focuses your intuitions, basically enhances your power in every way."
"What happens if I don't wear it?"
"Well you'll still have power, but very limited. For example, if you have a wound, you won't die immediately like a human would, but you won't heal unless you find the stone. Don't push your time, you only have so much of it."
"How much?"
"Depends on the wound. Like your gun shot. You should have died, but your body held on long enough to get help. In that situation, make sure you get help."
