"Why are you on the cross country team?" Lydia asks, frowning.
"Because my dad is making me this year, so I don't get out of shape," she sighs, putting on her shorts.
"Okay but why the boy's cross country team?"
"Cause I'm too fast for the girls. The other schools started a petition," she smirks. "Why aren't you in class?"
"Free period, duh."
"Did Stiles tell you his theory for the murders? He thinks they're sacrificing virgins," she laughs.
"Oh wow, that's interesting. Isn't he a virgin? Like the biggest virgin of all virgins?"
"Yes, which means he's freaking out every five seconds."
"So why are you so chipper today?"
"Just a good feeling," she pulls her hair into a ponytail.
"Sure," Lydia winks, "Have fun running!" she walks out, as Carson heads to the trail.
As soon as they start running, Isaac attempts to run after the twins.
"Why's he chasing the hot twins?" she asks Scott.
"Alpha twins, Carson. Try to remember the important things," he chuckles.
"That is the important thing," she retorts.
"So Stiles, you still as slow as a grandma?"
"Okay, we're in turmoil here. Have some sympathy," he groans.
"You're in turmoil. I'm far from a virgin," she laughs.
"Thank you for that image, but-" he stops to see a dead body tied to a tree.
"Holy shit," she gasps.
Eventually Stiles' dad comes, telling them to head back to the school.
"You see the way the twins looked at him?" Isaac stares at the alphas as they walk down the hill.
"Yeah like they had no idea what happened?" Stiles asks.
"No, no. They knew."
"The kid was strangled with a garrote, alright? Am I the only one recognizing the lack of werewolfitude in these murders?"
"Oh you think it's a coincidence they turn up and people start dying?"
"Well no, but I still don't think it's them."
"Scott?"
"Carson?"
"Nope, I'm not in this. Both of you have a point, but can we please stop getting rid of all the cute guys? I like having eye candy when I walk in the building," she sighs.
