After minutes of crying, she stopped and wiped her tears while still in my arms. Darn! It feels so right when she's here inside my arms.

"Hay. Buti na lang wala na sila mommy at daddy. Pati si nanay Melia buti umalis din nung dumating ka. Haha." She said as she wiped her tears.

"You're sure you're done?"

"Oo nga. Chase naman eh. Ang sadista mo. Napaiyak mo na nga ako di ka pa kuntento? And adik mo."

I smiled. "Sorry. Are you sure you're okay now?"

"Ulit ulit? Sige na nga. Hindi pa din."

My forehead creased. She must have carried all that burden iniside her for a long time that crying for once wasn't enough.

"Why? Cry again if you want to."

"Weh? Chansing na ko sayo Chase. Hahaha. Lagi pa kong nakayakap." Now she said it. She likes me alright...or loves me? I don't know. I'm fine in either of the two. "Ay joke lang pala. Ibig kong sabihin basang basa na yung damit mo ng luha ko. Kakahiya naman sayo." Pfft. She's really cute when she's denying her feelings.

I smiled and moved a little bit away from her. I don't want her to get conscious in my presence. "I'll be you handkerchief for as long as you wanted to cry. You can cry on my shoulder and throw yourself in my arms if you need a hug and comfort. I won't complain." Her cheeks flushed when I said that. Too cute. 

"Alam mo Chase..." She said, sounding blue, then paused for a second before speaking again. "...di ko alam kung dapat kong sabihin pa sayo to. Pero nakakaguilty naman kung hindi, kasi araw araw simula nung dalhin ako sa ospital lagi kang nandito. Pinapasaya mo pa ako at inaalagaan."

"What is it?" I asked, feeling nervous all of a sudden. I have a very bad feeling about this.

She smiled before answering. "Anong gagawin mo kapag sinabi na ng doctor kung hanggang kelan ka na lang sa mundo?"
