Chapter 5: Grimoire Ceremony

*Time skip (10 years later)*

3rd person P.O.V. :

At the demon skull...

Asta is doing work out in the forest inside the demon skull (I think inside the demon skull because it's looks like it ). Asta is now around 5'1 feet tall, he's also muscular now but not buffed yet (I checked wiki fandom and it says  that Asta's height is 155 cm) and he's doing push ups with single hand "997, 998, 999, 1000....  and.... done! Now it's time for a break and eat the potatoes that I was roasting before doing push ups." said Asta. He knew that he has no magic but he believes that miracle will happen but he doesn't lose hope and gives up easily.

Tomorrow is gonna be a big day for Yuno and Asta, because it is the grimoire ceremony. It's a day that every 15 years old teenagers gonna get their grimoire, but those teenagers with magic who only get their grimoire. That means Asta will not get his grimoire but he will go with Yuno just to accompany him. ;-; 

Asta was thinking about tomorrow's event until evening. He went back to the church and saw Yuno who is around 6 feet tall with a calm personality/attitude. Yuno ignored Asta when he passed by him while Asta is being friendly to Yuno. Asta shouted at Yuno that Yuno is his rival and who knows that Yuno said Asta is being ridiculous... Asta didn't care about Yuno's harsh words aka insults. 

*Time Skip*

No one P.O.V.:

On the way to the Grimoire Tower...

Asta went to the ceremony with Yuno just like they planned a few days ago although Yuno insisted that he wants to go alone, because Asta had a bad feeling that something bad is gonna happen. "Hey Yuno, do you think that you are gonna get a cool grimoire? I hope you will!" asked Asta "Maybe I'll get it, but after I get my grimoire I'm will be stronger than you" replied Yuno. "YOU ARE ALREADY STRONGER THAN ME YUNO YOU HANDSOME JERK!" Asta shouted. When Asta shouted, his voice caught lots of teens attention around them.

"Hey, stupidsta (バカスタ) everyone is looking at us. you are making me embarrassed, please lower your voice and mind your manners." Yuno complained with a 'you can't be serious' look. "Alright, Yuno you jerk. By the way the ceremony is gonna start soon, let's go there or else you are late." said Asta while he sighed and roll his eyes.

As soon they went into the grimoire tower, they saw a bunch of teens standing in the middle. Asta went to the side of the entrance while Yuno went to the middle of the building. There's a old man standing on a small stage " Welcome, young men and women. You will begin walking down a new path starting today, I wish you faith, hope and love. I am the master of this grimoire tower. We haven't had a wizard king from this area nor have we had achieve greatness by joining the magic knights. I sincerely wish that someone among you will become the wizard king" said the old man who name Drouot.

Some teens are thinking 'being the wizard king is impossible', but Drouot knew what are the teens think thinking about and said " I'm serious here! Now, it is time for the awarding of the grimoires!" when Drouot finished, the books from the bookshelves come down to the teens with glowing aura. They are excited to active spells in the grimoires, suddenly they saw a bright light around them. Everyone including Asta saw the light came from Yuno's grimoire and his grimoire appears to be a four-leaf clover.

Everyone was shock and some people whispering about the legendary four-leaf clover grimoire that supposedly has great power and the first wizard king also receive one of the four-leaf clover. "I'll become the wizard king" Yuno said calmly and everyone cheered around him, but someone did not expect that he will get a grimoire... Asta is happy because Yuno is the ray of hope in this region, suddenly a grimoire came out from one of the bookshelf and came to him with a red and black color aura.

Yuno noticed the grimoire flying towards Asta so did everyone. The grimoire appears to be the five-leaf clover that Liebe was seal inside it. Everyone did not expect the boy without magic would get a grimoire and it is a five-leaf clover, they were shocked once again. Yuno knew that Asta will get a grimoire and he also knew Asta will make the impossible to possible.

"I'll become the wizard king, Yuno!" shouted Asta and he asked "We are rivals remember?" "Yeah" Yuno replied with a smile on his face. When everyone leave the grimoire tower, Asta and Yuno are the last to leave the tower. When Yuno went outside, he was wrapped by a chain that binds his magic. Someone appeared in front of Yuno who appears to be a man with a scar on his face who is using a chain to get his grimoire. "Chain creation magic: magic binding iron chain. It restricts the magic and the movements of those who are capture by the chains" said the man.

"Who the heck are you?" Asked Yuno. "heh heh heh... Until recently, I was one of the magic knights. Revchi of chain magic... I was pretty famous. But now I'm just a wretched thief." said Revchi and he smirked. "Only the chosen one gets to use his grimoire." said Yuno "Heh heh heh~ But an underworld collector would pay insane money for a four-leaf clover grimoire." Revchi explain. They didn't know that Asta came out from the grimoire tower quietly and creep behind Revchi to save Yuno.

"Even though you ware chosen by the four-leaf but you are still a chickadee who just received his grimoire. How unfortunate that I happened to be here. Your legend will end before you begin." said Revchi with a greedy tone. "HOOOOOOOOOOOLD IIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTT!" Asta shout behind Revchi and point at him. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING THEIF!" Asta shouted and open his grimoire while trying to protect Yuno. "Asta..." said Yuno with a shock on his face.

"GIVE THE GRIMOIRE BACK TO YUNO, YOU JERK!" Asta shouted again and he took out a big and heavy sword that is covered with dirt out from his grimoire. 'It's heavy, luckily the result of  my training is useful' thought Asta "You are the kid who has no magic but you received a grimoire?!" as expected that Revchi is shocked. Asta run towards Revchi and swing his sword, just in time Revchi used his magic chains to block the attack.

But, Revchi's defend did not work because Asta nullified Revchi's magic chains and Asta managed to hit Revchi with his giant sword... One thing that Asta didn't know that Liebe is watching his big brother the whole time from the time that Asta received the grimoire...

Will Liebe meet Asta? Can Asta remember that Liebe is the little devil who was in the 'memory' thing? I won't leak out hehe 

A/N: Ah...Finally finish this chapter! *stretch* This took days to plan the story and my script is too messy lmao. I started playing osu! 2 months ago, you all can play together with me. I'm not that good in osu but nice to meet you all osu players! The recent bc episode (ep167)it made me sad :(  [But the hope will be lighten at NIGHT from the SHADOWS in the next episode]. *Manga readers, you all know what am I talking about right?* basically there's a hint in there (Liebe was acting cool in the ep167!)
