Chapter 25: Kidnapped

3rd person P.O.V. :

With Asta, Noelle and Leopold, Leopold grab Rades's shoulders "WHERE DID YOU SEND MY BROTHER YOU JERK!?" Leo demanded as Rades is laughing like a maniac (I'll call him Leo from now on) 'there must be a spatial mage nearby, they couldn't done it that accurate if they weren't. So where are they?' Noelle thought, then she saw Asta running towards the mountain of corpses and swing demon slayer at the top of the mountain of corpses, flipping some of the corpses up, a "corpse" escaped by using spatial magic. The "corpse" appeared on a building's roof.

"Good job for seeing through that. I figured someone will found out if I disguised myself with magic so I wear this disguise and yet you found me. Looks like it is over now." The "corpse" said as he takes off the mask. A portal open in front of the trio and Fuegoleon fell, he is unconscious, his right arm was missing and he is bleeding a lot. Noelle immediately tore a part of her skirt to stop the bleeding as Fuegoleon's grimoire started to crumble. Leo was traumatized as Rades went near him and blast him to a wall. Leopold fell unconscious when he hit on the wall.

"Leo!" Noelle shouted as Rades walks towards her and Fuegoleon. "Just a heart huh? I always do what my heart tells me to!" Rades said as he remembers the lecture that Fuegoleon gave him earlier but he was cut off by the "corpse" opening a portal underneath him "We've done what we should do, let's go before other magic knights come." the "corpse" said. Before Rades leaves he shouted to Asta "Asta huh? I'll kill you and make you into one of my toys soon! So look forward for it, brat!" Asta ran towards him before the spatial magic engulf Rades, he threw demon dweller at the spatial magic and erased it. 

Rades and the "corpse" were shocked as Asta ran towards Rades, swinging his sword at Rades, he dodged it but barely, he was cut on his right cheek. "OOOOOOOW! WHAT ARE THINKING YOU'RE DOING!" Rades shouted as the "corpse" opens another portal under him again. But Asta erased the spatial magic again, not letting Rades escape. "This is the pain for you when you laughed while inflicted the pain on them who didn't do anything to you!" Asta shouted and they started arguing. When Asta was distracted, the "corpse" opened a portal behind Asta and another one beside him, then he gather his magic on his hand, wanted to throw it at Asta. But then a beam of flame shot at him, he is able to dodge it in time. It appears to be Leopold who gained his consciousness, "What's good if I lose my cool this easily right, big brother!" Leopold said.

Both of them was surrounded, suddenly mist surrounded three of them. When the mist cleared, they saw 5 people wearing white robe with 3 golden eyes on it. "We received a report from our master and came." one of them spoke "Hah! Tables has turned!" Rades said sarcastically to the trio. Asta smirked, "You know, I always have difficulties since I was born. No matter how many people come at me or what happens, I'll definitely defeat them! So come at me!" Asta shouted as he went into a stance.

"Did our quantity drive him crazy?" One of them asked "It doesn't matter, he will die anyway." Another one answered. The five of them prepared their attack in unison and shot them at Asta at the same time. Asta blocked all of their attacks by making a dome from anti-magic. "So this is the kid that master was talking about." one of them mumbled. Asta rushed to one of them while Leopold help him to attack the others. "You aren't our target but we'll kill you now." They gather more mana and shoot at Leopold and Asta but the attacks were blocked by Noelle's sea dragon lair. "Don't think you can kill my friends easily. I have some business to deal with Asta!" Noelle said in a distance away.

"Nice barrier spell you have there. From your appearance you are a member of Silva family, am I correct? I'll oppose you to use your grimoire." The one said as they flipped their grimoire to a certain page.

Tree creation magic: Magic draining roots

Roots came out from the ground, it absorbed Noelle's sea dragon lair. 'No way! They absorbed my magic in an instant?!' Noelle was shock, after Noelle's sea dragon lair was fully absorbed, Asta and Leopold rushed to the mage in front of them. But they were immediately pirced by that mage's wind magic. Both of them immediately fell unconscious. The mages felt an enormous amount of mana coming towards their direction, "The knights came back, let's take this anti-magic kid with us before they come and capture us." One of the mage said as another one used slime magic to trap Asta in it. The "corpse" opened a portal and they all were engulf in it. "ASTA!" Noelle shouted as the magic knights arrived, Mimosa immediately heal Fuegoleon and Leopold. "They took Asta away, we need to save him!" Noelle said desperately "Sorry we can't locate them and our top priority is reinforcing the capital's defenses. We don't have time to waste on him." Nozel said coldly. 

With the mages and Rades, they appear in a forest as they slowly walk towards a building in the forest. Asta slowly regained his consciousness and heard a few people talking. "We should kill that boy," "Huh?! No way! You know he has anti-magic right? This is a whole different level from the magic weakening effect! I want to investigate him!" A girl said. Asta was shocked when he heard that, he tries to communicate with Liebe *Hey Liebe, what happened?* Asta asked *You are captured by that group.* Liebe replied *Why you didn't free me when I was unconscious?* Asta asked with frustration in his tone *Sorry nii-san, I was scared. Anyways I'll help you get out from that jelly now.* Liebe said as he appears beside the gel with a small anti-magic sword in his hand without the mages noticing. When they are near the building, he swung the sword and the gel was dispelled.

Asta took out demon slayer and demon dweller out before he starts attacking the mages. The mages was shocked when they see Asta broke free from the gel. Before the mages can react, Asta knocked one of them unconscious, then they started to fire their magic at Asta. Asta deflected or erased all of them, when a sneek attack almost hit Asta, a blue sphere stopped the attack.

All of the mages stopped their attack and look in front of them. Asta was confused, so he look behind him, the wizard king is standing in front of them, "Hey there! I've been waiting for you and hey Asta. You were the one who attacked the capital right?" Julius said.
