Chapter 24: The reason?

3rd person P.O.V. :

*Before Fuegoleon defeats Rades*

The magic knight captains and the magic knights defeated all of the corpses and able save all the citizens. The citizens cheered for them, but Nozel has doubt that the intruders has other objective other than targeting the king. *Looks like they've entered the marked areas. Well done magic knights* a voice can be heard by the magic knights, then suddenly there is a blue-purple galaxy like spatial magic devoured them before they can escape out of the area. Before it devour them, Yuno's grimoire glowed lime green as if it is giving him a warning.

Spatial magic: Blackout

They appeared at a field which is far away from the capital. "They got us!" Sol shouted "I knew they have a skilled spatial mage, but I've never think that they would be this good." Charlotte said to herself.

In the capital, there is a witch sitting on a broom while looking at the citizens that are below her. "I was going to play with those who have escaped the trap but those magic knights fell into a simple trap." the witch said, "W-who is that?" some citizens asked in fear. "I got the chance to get some young mana now" The witch said as she sucked the mana from the citizens, the citizens aged in an incredible speed and became weaker than before. The witch's attention was by a man look at a 'girl' worriedly. "Oh there is a handsome! How old do I look?" the witch asked as she goes closer to the man "What have you done, you monster?!" the man said in anger and fear. "HOW DARE YOU SAY I'M A MONSTER! DIE" the witch said in rage and anger as she wanted to suck the man's mana but she was stopped by a tornado separating both of them.

She turn around and saw Yuno standing in a distance away from her. "Oh! Someone escaped the spatial magic-" she paused and she started fangirling "Talking about gorgeous, you are my type! Wanna do something fun with me!"

"Get away from the people, old lady" Yuno said coldly, the witch's face change from happy to filled with anger "YOU ARE DEAD! WHO ARE YOU CALLING AN OLD LADY?!" The witch opened her grimoire and flipped to a certain page.

Ash curse magic: Cheerful ash destruction.

Some purple projectiles appeared as she shot them at Yuno. "Those are curse bullets filled with all sorts of bullets. You won't know what will happen until you got hit by them." She laughed while Yuno dodge them by using his wind magic.

"What are you people? Why did you attack us?" Yuno demanded "Sure, you are handsome so I'll tell you. We're here to eliminate someone. I'm not gonna tell you who it is!" The witch said.

After a few minutes of sending attacks and dodging, Yuno has grown exhausted. He slowed down and the curses hit him. "Aw~ you aregetting slower and clumsier. You will pay for calling me old, while trembling in fear." The witch said sarcastically as she licked her lips 'My vision is getting blur, my body is getting numb and my hearing is slowly fading. So this is her power...' Yuno thought. Yuno kept thinking about the past that he was saved by Asta in the dungeon, getting taunted by the nobles.

"You know if you can beg for your life nicely, I don't mind forgiving you. Just say *I am so sorry miss*." She made more curse bullets.

Suddenly he saw a lime green stuff glowing in the dark, then he saw a flock of green birds flying towards a spot. 'Is this the flow of mana?' Yuno thought as the witch keep talking about begging his life which made him feel annoyed.

'Shut up, I don't care about you. I just don't want to lose to Asta!' "Not yet!" Yuno said as he is thinking in his mind. His grimoire flipped to a new page and words appears as the wind is gathering in front of him. A little person stood in front of him inhaling the wind. "Let me tell you one thing, I hate losing to someone more than anything!" Yuno shouted as the little person exhaled.

Wind spirit magic: Spirit breath

'I see this is the spirit that I got from the dungeon when I saw a scroll and opened it. I've never thought about this spirit was giving me mana signs. I was relying my hearing and eyesight too much and not seeing them.' Yuno is catching his breath.

'This is bad, if I use all the magic I've gathered to block the attack. I will..." the witch thought as the wind hit her towards a tower. Yuno felt her mana before he went to the tower and saw a ram punched the witch. Then he saw a plate of food falling, he quickly used his wind magic to save it. He saw a short girl with black bulls robe, then he gave it to her. After he gave the plate of food to the girl, he blacked out.

*Present*

Rades found out his other corpse was defeated by Leopold and Noelle. He was binded by flame paws from Fuegoleon, Fuegoleon took his grimoire to look at itbut it appears that Rades's grimoire only has a single page of spell. "DON'T YOU DARE TO LOOK DOWN AT ME!" Rades shouted with rage. "Who is looking down at you! What a waste of your powerful magic when others doesn't acknowledge you." Asta said.

Fuegoleon started to question Rades about their objective "Our objective is you, Fuegoleon Vermillion" Rades smirked as the same spatial magic engulfed Fuegoleon. "Big brother!" Leopold shouted as the spatial magic slowly disappear.

Fuegoleon was send to a place which is all white and it has 3 magic circles. He heard someone's footsteps coming towards him, so he turn around. He couldn't believe who the person he is looking at. "Y-You...!" Fuegoleon look shocked.
