Chapter 6: Reunion With The Devil?

No one P.O.V. :

Asta managed to hit Revchi with his giant sword, Revchi flew backwards. He hit the wall behind him and fell unconscious. The chains that are wrapped around Yuno have disappeared when Revchi was defeated by Asta. 

"Thanks Asta, you saved me again" Said Yuno after he picked up his grimoire. "Remember that day when we made our promise?" he asked Asta...

*Flashback*

In a snowy night, Yuno went to a small town near the church to help Farther Orsi give something to a resident who lives in the small town at night. When he was on the way walking back to the church, he met a man who looks drunk. The man took Yuno pendant from his neck harshly "That's mine..." Yuno said it with a shiver in his little voice and an expression on his face that he looks like he's gonna cry "I'm just gonna change it for cash, boy" said the man with a greedy expression on his face and a smirk. "Besides, this item is too nice for a poor orphan to have. In this world, magic is everything. Did you want to have a magic duel with me and die?" the man said it sarcastically while the man activate his ice magic. Yuno felt helpless and suddenly Yuno saw Asta appear out of nowhere, run towards the man and jump on him "woah! What's with this brat?" the man was shocked "That belongs to Yuno! Give it back!" Asta screamed and try to snatch the pendant back. "Get off me you little punk! You dirty orphan!" the man push Asta away from him harshly and made Asta fall backwards. "Asta..." Yuno was worried and tried to stop him, but he can't stop Asta from taking his pendant back. "I'm not done yet!" Asta shouted at the man while he is trying to take the pendant back. Asta tried a few more times to get it back but he failed and failed again, but he didn't give up. "fine you can have it back" Finally the man gave the pendant back to the kids. "Are you okay? Thanks, Asta..." Yuno asked his injured friend with a worried tone "Magic is everything in this world, eh? Well then I'll become someone. Even though I'm poor orphan who can't use magic yet... I'll prove that even people like us can become someone amazing! I'll become the wizard king!" Asta said it filled with determination and confidence. Silence.... "Me too" said Yuno "Seriously?" Asked Asta "Then, let's see who becomes the wizard king!" the kids said it with unison and the fist bump to keep and remember their promise

*Flashback ends*

"Of course, Yuno. But I didn't think that you remembered..."said Asta. They fist bumped again like when they were young and said "Let's see who becomes the wizard king!"

Liebe P.O.V. :

I saw big brother fist bump with a stranger who name Yuno, he looks like he's more matured than he was a kid. I miss him, I want to greet him and ask about his life in the 10 years that I am sealed in this grimoire. I guess I can ask him when he's alone, but I notice something strange. Doesn't big brother remember what happened 10 years ago? I'll see what he's doing right now and I'll better pay a visit when he's alone...

Asta P.O.V. :

When we went back to the church together when it's almost dark. Farther Orsi looked so worried in front of the church when we reach back, "We're back! (ただいま!) We received our grimoire and Yuno got a four-leaf grimoire!" I shouted. "Welcome back, what took you so long? Yuno, you received a four-leaf grimoire! As expected, Yuno. Wait, Asta you got your grimoire too?! I didn't expect that..." Father Orsi was shocked when he saw my grimoire, he looks like he knew about this grimoire. "Let's celebrate for receiving Yuno's and your grimoire. I made tons tatoes for the celebration!" he quickly said it. Yeah, tatoes party!
