Part 27

"I seriously think that he has lost his marbles." Adym tells me as he works on a crossword puzzle.

"Marbles? That's kind of a stretch, don't you think?" I asked coloring.

"Did you not see what he did? That man literally yelled at something that wasn't there."

"That doesn't make him crazy, maybe he's delusional, paranoid- if he's seeing things its probably because of losing Lori." I looked down at my art disappointed, I colored outside the lines!

He breathes. "Do you think he's seeing Lori?"

"I don't think, I know." I say as Beth enters the room.

"Hey, we're about to converse." She says.

I nod my head and we make our way to the food area, where everyone else was waiting. Glenn was drawing a map of the prison on the floor with chalk.

"Right. Now you said you found Tyreese' group here?"

"Yeah." Carl answers.

"We secured this."

"He thought he came through here." He pointed to the back end of the prison where I assume the wall is down.

"Means theres another breach. Okay. The whole front of the prison is unsecure. If a group of walkers strolled in, thens its going to be cake for a group of armed men."

"Why are we even so sure he's going to attack? Maybe you scared him off." Beth says.

"He had a fish tank full of heads. Walkers and humans. Trophies. He's coming." Michonne adds.

"Gross. See in the old world that is the definition of a sociopath. I believe this man doesn't even care about his people, he just needs followers. The name 'Governor' is a title, not a nickname." I say.

"We should hit him now." Glenn says.

"What?" Beth and Adym say in unison.

"He won't be expecting it."

"Are you kidding? We don't have the bullets or the man power." Adym argued against it.

"We'll sneak back in and put a bullet in his head." Glenn pushes.

"We're not assassins." Carol says.

"You know where his apartment is, you and I could end this tonight." He asked Michonne, but she sighed. "I'll do it myself."

"Don't be stupid." I shake my head, then she nods. "God, you guys are stupid."

"He didn't know you were coming last time and look what happened. You were almost killed, Daryl was captured, and you, Rei, and Maggie were almost executed." Hershel added his imput.

"You can't stop me." Glenn says.

"Rick would never allow this."

"You think he's in any position to make that choice?" He asked.

"Think this through clearly. T dog lost his life here. Lori too. The men that were here. It isn't worth anymore killing. What are we waiting for if he's really on his way? We should be out of here by now." Hershel says.

"And go where?"

"We lived on the road all winter."

"Back when you had two legs and we didn't have a baby crying for walkers every four hours."

"We can't stay here."

"We can't run."

As this was starting to annoy me, Maggie leaves the room. Glenn only wants to kill the governor for what he did to Maggie, if he didn't do that he wouldn't even bother.
