"Next stop, Capitol", says a woman's voice in the train's loudspeakers. This train stopped only four times, very shortly, so people could hop on or off. I stand up from my seat and go towards the door. In a few minutes the trains slows down and finally, after too many hours of nervous waiting, I can get off.

It is the same platform where we arrived with Peeta three times before: our first games, victory tour and our second games. Only this time there aren't as many people here and none of them are cheering for me when I get off. Also here are no peace keepers to push me into a car right after I get off the train. I love the freedom every person in Panem got after the revolution. Makes me feel a bit better, that we actually fought for a good cause. And that all the people didn't die for nothing.

I walk to the street and realise I have no idea where the hospital is. How will I ever find it here? Especially now that it's already dark outside. After a while I decide to ask someone. I take a look around and I see a older woman standing near the entrance to the railway station, under a bright street light. She has long green eyelashes and a funny pink sunhat, that has a big ribbon under her chin. I walk over and she gives me a nervous look. For most of the people in the districts I may be some sort of a hero, but for people in Capitol, I'm the girl who took away their special treatment, the games and probably so much more. But then I need to remind myself that not everyone were on Snow's side. So many, even Capitol people were against him. People like Cressida and Pollux.

"Excuse me, how can I get to the hospital?"I ask politely. She looks me under her hat very cautiously, probably deciding whether to tell me or not. Finally she does:

"You can get a taxi and tell him to drive to the hospital, it's almost three miles away from here", she says and I wonder has she ever walked three miles in her life? She sound like it would've been the impossible challenge. I look at her feet and see that in the shoes she's wearing it even might be.

"Thank you very much", I say and try to smile for her. Even if I could walk to the hospital, it would take me so much longer and I even don't know which way to go so I walk to a car that has a 'taxi' sign on it. I've never been in a taxi before, but I ask the driver to drive me to the hospital and he does. It takes maybe ten minutes before I pay him the prize he wants and get off.

Inside the hospital is such a hassle. There are nurses running in different directions with or without patients, a few doctors walk fast by with a cup of coffee in their hands. And this is just the lobby. I see a info desk and walk to it. The lady behind it smiles at me and asks how she could help me.

"I'm here to see a patient", I say and she nods asking the name.

"Peeta Mellark."

Then she takes her glasses off and takes a long look at me. She doesn't look like she's from the Capitol. She doesn't have a weird coloured skin, no wig or funky eyelashes. She is wearing only a little bit of light blue eyeshadow and pink lipstick.

"It is an honour talking to you in person Katniss. My dad and brother died in an uprising in district five and I'm very happy they died for a good cause. I mean I'm not happy that they died, but..." She says but never finishes the sentence and I can very well understand why. I just nod. "Well Peeta seems to be on the eighth floor, room 879, it's the special treatment floor, so he should be in good hands", she says and tells me more specifically where I need to go to find the room. I thank her and leave. I'm so excited to finally see Peeta. But also I'm a little nervous. What if he's still mentally not himself?

As I walk out of the lift, I see here are almost no people on this floor. I see room 856 and the numbers get bigger to my right so I turn there. 870, 871, 872... Then as I am about to continue forward I see in a corridor, turning right, a familiar face. Haymitch sees me too and comes over. I hug him and we sit down in the corridor. Opposite of us is the room 879 and I stare the door wanting so bad just to break in.

"What happened?" I finally ask, because I need to know.

"Well I was sleeping on my couch when I heard my door open and rise to see which one of you it was at that time of the night. It was half past four so I thought something must've been wrong. As I saw him, he was basically crying and his hand was full of glass and was bleeding really bad. I obviously couldn't do anything for it so I decided to call Dr. Aurelius. He said it sounded really bad and Peeta said the next train into Capitol would be leaving in 40 minutes so I told Dr. Aurelius we would jump on it and come soon", Haymitch explains.

"How was the train journey?" I ask.

"Peeta got worse every hour. He even threw up once. His hand was badly infected at that point and he had lost so much blood he almost fainted", Haymitch says very worriedly.

"How is he doing now then?"

"Well they said he had a blood poisoning, of some sort", he says and I become even more worried than I was before. I must look worried too because he continues quickly: "But he's now in good hands and he'll be just fine." It doesn't help much and I stand up to go to the door, but Haymitch takes a grip of my wrist and pulls me back to the chair. "There are doctors at the moment so you can't go in right now."

We just wait. I check the clock in the hallway every other minute, but it doesn't make the time go by any faster. Finally when a few nurses and a doctor come out, I'm immediately up from my seat. Last from the door comes Dr. Aurelius.

"Oh, hello Katniss. good to see you again", ha says and shakes my hand.

"Can I see him? I just ask, because I can't wait any longer.

"Sure. I think he's asleep, but you can both go in now", he says looking me and Haymitch, who has also stood up.

I open the door and Haymitch thanks Dr. Aurelius fast before coming in behind me. There's a chair right next to Peeta's bed and I sit on it, taking his healthy hand-that still has a needle with a thin tube bumping probably some medicine into him- into mine. He is in fact sleeping and as much as I want to hear his voice, I don't dare to wake him up. I just look at him. Even here, in the hospital, in bad condition, he is still so handsome. His blond hair falling on his forehead, his almost blond eyelashes, his jawline... My eyes wonder around his face and then make their way to his hand, which has a bandage on it. The blood is showing a little through the white fabric.

"Well, looks like nothing much will be happening here, so I'll get some coffee and see Effie, who is also here, and interested to know Peeta's situation. I nod and he leaves.

Now that I have seen him. Seen that Peeta's alive and in an okay condition, my tiredness kicks in. It's very late at night and since I couldn't sleep in the train, it's hard to keep my eyes open for much longer. I take one more look at Peeta and see that he's still sleeping, so I lean my head against his bed, still holding his hand, and fall asleep.
