Peacefully I open my eyes. For once I had no nightmares. Not a single one. Peeta's breathing is still very calm and his chest rises up and down under my hand. I feel a cold breeze and see that the window in his room in open, so I pull the cover better over me. I look at Peeta's so very peaceful and relaxed face and let my eyes wander around his beautiful facial features. Suddenly his lips curl into a tiny, sweet smile and for a second I thought he had woken up, but no, he smiles in his sleep. He looks so happy and it makes me smile too. I snuggle closer to him and close my eyes again. Even though I cannot fall asleep, it's just nice to lay here.

Soon I feel Peeta move and I open my eyes. His eyes flutter open too and he takes a deep breath smiling. I feel a warm wave of happiness and rise my head from his chest.

"Good morning", he says with a sleepy voice and gently rubs his eyes.

"Morning. You seemed to have happy dreams." I say looking into his eyes. My voice is now almost good and doesn't sound too weak anymore.

"I did. But you know what's better? I dreamt that you said real to my question, but then I realised you did really say that, that it wasn't only a dream. Or then I'm still dreaming", he says and starts fiddling with my hair.

"Yeah me too", I say and lean in to give him a kiss.

"If this is a dream, then I don't ever want to wake up", he says whispering when we apart.

"Me neither." I lean my head back against his chest and we just stay like that for quite a while. Only when I begin to slightly shiver, Peeta apologies for the open window and stands up to close it.

"Do you want some breakfast? Cheese buns?" he says grinning. I let out a tiny giggle and nod. "Wanna help me make them?" he asks standing next to the bed where I still lay under the warm blanket, not wanting to rise to the cool air outside it. But still I nod as an answer to his question and he gives me a wide smile. "Great. In that case I'm afraid you'll need to get out of the bed." I yawn widely and then finally flip the blanket off me and hop off the bed.

"Can you pass me the flour please?" Peeta asks cracking the eggs in and I reach to the big bag of flour. It's quite heavy and I almost just drop it on the table next to Peeta, and the bowl he's making the dough into, causing a cloud of flour fly out, making both of our clothes and faces turn pretty much colourless. We start laughing and wipe the flour off our faces. "Sorry, I forgot to warn about that", he says when he isn't laughing so hard anymore.

"Sorry", I just say. He starts pouring flour in, mixing the dough every once in a while with a wooden spoon. When the spoon won't do the job anymore, he puts his healthy hand in the dough and starts kneading it. He looks so concentrated and I watch his muscles do the fine work.

"How can you do that so well with only one hand?" I ask him after my eyes have adored him long enough. Well not long enough. But long.

"Just... Practice I guess."

Soon Peeta puts the little balls of dough into the big oven made of bricks. He made fire to it before we started baking so it should be warm by now.

"Now what?" I ask him washing the flour off my hands and trying to get it away from the shirt with a wet towel.

"We could clean here..." he says looking around. "And then we just wait."

"For how long?" I ask frustrated. Peeta laughs at me and says it won't be too long. We start cleaning the kitchen and then trying to get the rest of the flour away from ourselves too.

The smell of the bread fills the room as the cheese buns are ready and it's so delicious that I could start drawling. Peeta warns me that they're hot, and we must wait a while before we can start eating them. But my growling stomach thanks me when it finally gets food. After our first buns, Peeta asks:
