Daichi pushed the door open. He smiled and tilted his head in entry's direction, inviting boys into the team's room. It had just enough space for everyone to feel comfortable. Daylight streamed from big windows, making it seem bigger than it was. Futons were neatly lying on the light wooden floor. Distance between them gave space to put all the belongings without bothering others.
"So cool!" Hinata exclaimed, entering the room and crashing onto one of the futons.
"So noisy..." Tsukishima growled and walked past him, giving boy a side eye. He dropped his bag and sat down. "Not as bad as I thought though," blonde shrugged, looking around.
Yamaguchi followed his boyfriend and flopped beside him, shoving training bag to the next futon. Tsukishima didn't seem to mind, so he made himself comfortable, taking a bit more space. He looked around the room and giggled at the sight of Tanaka and Nishinoya fighting about that one futon near the window. "Sugawara senpai," Yamaguchi called softly, attracting setters attention to the boys. Sugawara sighed and nodded.
"Hey, Daichi, can you help me with these two?" he pointed in hustle's direction, where boy's now were hitting each other with training bags.
Captain clicked his tongue with a noticeable annoyance on his face, "Why can't they be peaceful at least for a couple of minutes?"
They came up to the boys and took them by shirt collars. Sugawara dragged Nishinoya across the room next to Daichi's futon, ignoring his resistance. Captain followed the setter, pulling Tanaka on the futon near Nishinoya, standing between them, "We'll keep an eye on you like that." Boys pouted, but said nothing. They perfectly knew that arguing with third years never was a good idea.
As it got quieter and everyone sat down, Daichi pulled his phone out. "We'll have a light snack in 10 minutes, since we were driving for hours," he looked around the room, where everyone seemed to be listening, before continuing, "and then, after a 40 minute rest, we'll have our evening practice."
"Any questions?" Sugawara said, glancing at Daichi. Setter chuckled, seeing captain roll his eyes, for him stealing his line.
"Can we practice with Nekoma today?" Hinata looked at the captain with a hope in his eyes.
"No," Daichi sighed, "but we'll play with them tomorrow."
Hinata exhaled deeply and pouted, before turning to Kageyama to annoy him with questions about their new combination. Yamaguchi chuckled quietly. Hinata always showed his emotions in an exasperated way, which made freckled boy laugh. Such a kid... Yamaguchi smiled lightly at the thought and tried to concentrate on Daichi's words again. He yawned, leaning on Tsukishima's shoulder out of the habit.
"Not with the whole team here!" blonde hissed, shrugging his boyfriend off.
Yamaguchi sat straight and gave him an apologetic look, before looking away. My mistake, I know. A heavy sigh left his lips. He was used to this kind of attitude in public, so it wasn't anything new to him. However it still hurt every time. A year of them being in a relationship has passed, but Tsukishima didn't put any effort into getting comfortable with his boyfriend signs of affection. While Yamaguchi on the other hand - was doing his best to not anger or stun the blonde with his habits or attitude, even if it meant restricting his own wishes. Boy was thinking about visiting a lot of fun places with the blonde for a date, however Tsukishima was refusing every time, having the same excuse: it's too crowded there. Sudden buzz snapped Yamaguchi out of his thoughts. Boy pulled his phone out. Teru... He smiled at the screen.

Teru: Did you get there safely?
Teru: Don't forget to eat a little bit before practice, you need energy <3Yamaguchi knew that he has to get ready for lunch, but couldn't resist that warm feeling of someone caring about him. Two minutes won't hurt much... He though and pressed on the messages, opening their private chat. 'Yea' he typed 'thanks for worrying ^^'
Terushima didn't make Yamaguchi wait'Is everything okay with salty?' boy asked.
Yamaguchi rolled his eyes. 'Don't call him that...' he pouted, typing.
'Fine, but still...' Terushima wasn't really fond of Tsukishima, who constantly hurt freckled boy's feelings, by the lack of attention or interest towards him.
Yamaguchi sighed, replying 'He's still my boyfriend, even if he doesn't have the best personality'.
'Okay okay' Terushima answered in no time 'anyway, is everything alright?'
'Kinda?' boy didn't know if he should bring the topic up now or let it go 'nothing changes'.
'Did he do something again?' Yamaguchi felt Terushima clicking his tongue, while typing that.
Boy hesitated for a couple of minutes. He really wanted to get this painful feeling off his chest and Terushima was the best person to do it with. 'Not really...but I feel like he's still ashamed of me in a way...' he replied.
'Don't think so! There's no way someone can be ashamed of you!' Yamaguchi smiled at friend's wards.
'But what if he really is...?' he looked up at his silent boyfriend, but another buzz made him immediately return to the chat.
'Then he's an idiot' Yamaguchi chuckled at the message.
'You're always saying so' he replied simply with a soft smile on his lips.
Another message popped up right away 'Because that's the truth and you know that!'
'Sigh...' Yamaguchi typed 'anyway... thank you, I feel much better <3'
'Always here for you <3' boy felt warmth spreading over his body. He needed these words. Needed them more than anything right now. Words, that didn't bring him down. Words, that made him feel happier.
Boys chatted for another minute till team started getting ready for the lunch. Yamaguchi quickly said his goodbyes to Terushima, promising to talk more later, and switched his phone off, still wearing light smile on his lips. Thank you...Teru...
