We pull into the parking lot of the hospital. I parked the car pulled out the keys and just sat there. "Micheal?" I said facing him. "Yeah?" He couldn't turn towards me because of the cast around his neck. "Please wake me up from this dream. Pinch me or something." "Aly, you have to believe in the doctors and most importantly God. He can do great things." Then we sat there and prayed for about 10 minutes.

When we reached the hospital I wanted to start running through halls yelling my baby's name. But sadly Michael was hurt so I couldn't. Then we walked over towards the front desk and we mentioned our names. "Go on in." The security guard said while gesturing his hand towards one room. We walked in and it was just a waiting room. Micheal told me to sit down and he will go find Kyrie.

Michaels POV

I searched through the halls and couldn't find him. "Shit! She is going to have a heart attack if I can find him." I said to myself. Then a nurse came up to me and said. "Who are you looking for?" "Kyrie Irving." "Follow me." She said and I she turned many corners. Where the hell is he? I thought to myself. "Here he is." "Thank the lord." I rushed in and he was sleeping. "Damn it!" I yelled, his whole leg was in a cast and raised up a little. I rushed down the halls going to get Aly. "I found him." She jumped up and followed me. "Is it bad?" "You will have to see." Then she started to bite her finger nails. I opened the door for her and she walked in. Tears dripped down her face. "Ky?" She said softly walking slowly towards him. "He's asleep." She nodded her head and took a seat right next to him. It was getting late and it was already 12:45a.m. "Hey I have to sleep in my bed at home since I hurt my neck. Is it okay if I call George to come pick me up?" She looked up from her phone and nodded. "Ight I'll be back early in the morning." "Okay." She said wiping the tears off her face.

Kyries POV

I wake up the next morning after the injury. It was about 3:30 a.m. I see Aly's beautiful face. Thank the lord she is here because she is the only person I wanted to see at the moment. "Hey." She jumped because the voice scared her. "Oh hey. How are you feeling?" She said with a warming smile. "Better then yesterday." I said raising up the bed. She was flipping through a magazine, espn of course, then set it on the table next to her. "Michael was here last night but his collar bone was hurting. Wow my best friend and my boyfriend both got seriously injured in a matter of days." I just smiled at her. "Where were you yesterday?" I questioned. "My practice was running late and I tried to get out of it but I couldn't." She said looking bummed. "Understandable." I said trying to face her. "Want me to go get us some breakfast?" She questioned as she stood up. "Sure." Then she leaned down kissed me and headed for the cafeteria.

I laid there thinking that nothing will every be the same again. I'm done with basketball. I don't even know if Aly will want to deal with my leg. My life is over.
