Emma sat at the table across from Armageddon. "Can I ask you something, Uncle Arma?"

Armageddon looked up from his newspaper. "What do you want, little girl?"

"Daddy said you were one of his most trusted people. Did you ask him to save my mommy?"

Armageddon laughed. "Girl, I could care less about your mommy. When this is over, my kingdom will be drowned in darkness. And you will be your father's problem. Now, shut your mouth."

Emma scoffed. "You're not very nice."

Rapture laughed as he entered the room. "Correct, darling. Your uncle isn't very nice. I thought I asked you to keep her entertained until I returned, Armageddon."

Armageddon snarled. "That would be a waste of my powers. I am a demon of darkness. I do not entertain children."

Llana shook her head as Emma started to cry. "Oh, you've really done it now. You've upset the girl."

Armageddon raised his hand to slap Emma but stopped mid-swing as he saw her eyes turn red. "What are you doing, little girl?"

Emma brandished her tendrils and lashed them around his throat. "You're a meanie. And mommy told me to stand up to meanies," She released him, and he was sent flying across the room as she roared in a dual-tone voice. "Daddy, I did it! Just like you showed me! Are you happy?"

Rapture scooped her up and laughed hysterically. "Happy? I'm ecstatic, Emma! That was wonderful!"

Llana high-fived Emma. "Good job, Emma. That was awesome."

Armageddon cursed as he stood up. "Rapture, what the hell is she?" He asked, the fear in his voice undeniable.

Rapture handed Emma to Llana. "She's my daughter. Your niece. As you can see, you should treat her with the utmost respect."

Blackcaster pushed the door open and stared hard at Rapture.

"We had a deal. I did as you asked. I want out."

Armageddon moved out of the way as he approached. Rapture scowled. "You're out when I say you're out. You have one last job to do."

"I'M DONE!"

Rapture lashed a burning chain through his chest. "No, you're not. Bring me Elizabeth, and we'll call it square. How about that, Alex? Does that work for you?"

Blackcaster looked over at Emma, who was playing a game with Llana at the table. "Fine. I'll bring you the queen. But after that, we're done."

Rapture released him from the chain. "Good boy. Now, do as you're told."

Blackcaster scowled and stormed out the door. Emma watched as he left. "Daddy, who was that?"

Rapture smiled. "A friend. He's bringing your mommy here, darling. Won't that be nice?"

Emma smiled. "Mommy's coming?"

"Yes. Mommy's coming."

"Yay, thanks, daddy."

Rapture laughed. "You're welcome, darling."
