Izuku showered then changed into pajamas before sitting on his bed.
He was pleased that Katsuki was staying at his house for the night, his anxieties didn't necessarily settle, but he felt more at ease that he wasn't alone.
Izuku was thinking to himself when Katsuki appeared in the door way, "I always forget how small your room is.." he mumbled sitting on the floor.
"Come on. Stretches." He glanced at Izuku waiting for him.
Izuku nodded and sat across from him stretching out his legs and back. They did Izuku's routine and after they finished Katsuki stood and walked to the door.
"Night Deku."
He mumbled before turning the light off and leaving the room.
"G-goodnight Kacchan.." Izuku stood and took his meds then laid in bed, he wasn't tired, but he didn't want to bother Katsuki so he just stared at the ceiling, and for what it seemed, it felt like forever. He glanced at the time in which he had been staring for over 2 hours, maybe he could go bother Katsuki if he wasn't sleeping, but Katsuki always went to bed early.
Izuku unsure of what to do, just stared at the ceiling until he felt that awful pit in his chest. He turned onto his side and closed his eyes focusing on sounds. His hearing wasn't the best but he liked listening to what he could and he didn't need hearing aids yet. So he took advantage of listening to sounds.
Until he heard police sirens, the most chest pitting sound for Izuku was police sirens. He couldn't stand them, they mean all sorts of danger.
Izuku sat up and covered his ears. It was pretty late at night, what could possibly be happening to need police sirens. Izuku took a deep breath and glanced out his window, he didn't see anything eye catching, and he could see quite a bit from his window. Maybe he was freaking out for no reason. Maybe he shouldn't worry about it much.
Izuku slowly put his hands down and exhaled shakily, the sirens didn't quiet down.
He was going to bother Katsuki.
Izuku stood and left his room quietly, he walked into the living area and looked at the couch. It was empty.
"K-Kacchan?" Izuku whispered slowing walking forward, he glanced into the kitchen, empty.
Izukus collar began to blink a bright yellow, his heart pounding out of his chest. His breaths short and fast as his eyes darted around the apartment. He quickly moved to his dads room and opened the door, nothing. Katsuki's gone. He left Izuku.
Izukus panic grew as he stood in the middle of the living room, alone in the apartment. Katsuki said he'd stay. What happened, he lied. He's alone, Izuku is entirely alone again.
Unable to move a single centimeter, he stared into the dark , the only light being the yellow blinking from his neck. He knew he needed to calm down, the sirens outside never ending, getting louder, more clearer. Panic settling in his chest as his hand reached for his shirt, he tugged at it as if it were suffocating him, the room spinning.
The one night he knows he shouldn't be alone, he's alone. Suffocating in a large space. He dropped to the floor and backed up against the couch, bringing his knees to his chest and rocking himself, he tried calming himself, but the pit grew deeper. Something is telling him he is unsafe.
The sirens growing outside are screaming he's unsafe. The silence is telling him he's unsafe.
He's unsafe.
Izukus panicked breathing turned into gasps for air as his apartment floor began to tremble. He's in danger, there's something dangerous near. Where's Katsuki, is Katsuki ok?
The room spinning faster than his thoughts, the light illuminating from his neck, a bright red.
He tugged harder against his shirt as his gasps became deeper.
He's alone, the sirens louder, the apartment floor trembling every few seconds.
He needs to leave.
Izuku quickly moved to his feet, his vision becoming spotty, the sirens gone quiet as his ears rung vigorously. The world silent, his mind silent as he pauses. His breathing seized.
Within a couple seconds the wall in his kitchen caved. The tremble of impact, Izuku looked over quickly as he almost lost his balance.
Danger.
His hearing came to, sirens blaring, rubble falling, glass crunching.
A large injured villain laying on the floor of his kitchen, just yards away, a hero coming through the same hole, the villain stands and is immediately thrown into the wall behind, destroying the wall leading to his room and bathroom. Things in both rooms clattering to the floor.
Izuku frozen in place as his collar blinks red, what's he supposed to do, the villains pained yells consuming Izukus ears. Izukus eyes dart around the apartment, he needs to leave, his collar blinking red. Everything is happening too fast for him, he can't process what's happening, his mind is fogged. Everything is foggy.
He quickly makes his way to the door, he opens it quickly and runs into the hall, the wall to his apartment collapsing as he closes the door, the villain and hero going at eachother just yards away once again.
Izukus heart pounding, he begins to run towards the exit.
Everything happening in a matter of seconds. The doors to the other rooms wide open, everyone has escaped?-
The hero thrown right over Izukus head landing yards infront of him. Bloodied and bruised, he's losing. Izuku stops and turns around looking at the villain.
His heart drops seeing the entity approach and tower over him.
"You didn't escape with everyone else?"
His collars blinking became faster and brighter, an audible beep coming from it.
"Run! Run kid!" The hero yelled at him.
"Hurry!"
Izuku stepped back and moved around the hero, the villain made his move quickly and grabbed Izukus arms yanking him back.
"Ack!!-" his shoulder right dislocated as he winces.
"Let's add to the plot, why don't we?" The villain glared into the eyes of the hero holding Izuku hostage. "You cant save everyone." The villain muttered.
They weren't just a villain and hero, Izuku realized he was in the middle of something much more. He was now dragged into something more personal between the two, about to pay the price of something the hero potentially did years ago.
Izuku closed his eyes, the entire situation replaying in his head. He can't help. He can't escape. And this hero is about to die. He is about to die.
The villain tightened his grip on Izuku, the villains arm right wrapped around his torso, a hand over his mouth, and the other threatening his neck with a katana.
Izuku exhaled against the villains hand.
As the situation replays behind his closed eyes, he's learned the weak points of the larger behind him.
His collar returning to the bright red it was before, he's beginning to calm down.
Izuku opened his eyes staring at the hero.
"I'm sorry.." the hero muttered struggling to stand. "Put him down.. this is between me and you." He stepped closer to the villain as the katana pressed against Izukus neck piercing the skin.
Izuku dared not flail as his collar returned to the blinking red.
"IZUKU!!"
