Weeks passed on as Katsuki learned to use his quirk, while Izuku sat on the sidelines cheering him on. Even if he didn't have a quirk of his own, he was already happy enough watching Katsuki be happy.

During the few weeks Mitsuki notified Hisashi about Izukus current memory condition, because she had started noticing it too. Hisashi took note and made an appointment for him, he did hesitate knowing how much his son hates the hospital, but it could be serious, and he didn't want to hurt son. Inko often ignored Izuku, or attempted to guilt him into doing things for her, she also had began turning to violence for 'punishment'.

But Izuku never complained, nor did he ever really talk about it, Inko threatened him that if he told his father, more punishment would come. So Izuku kept it to himself, it didn't bother him much either. Considering he'd often forget of the experiences he'd have.

The school year had been coming to an end, and Izuku was able to finish the last few months of school without going to the hospital, almost, that was until Izukus doctors appointment came up the second to last day of school. Hisashi felt especially guilty because not only did he hate being in the hospital, so did izuku.

Present time

Izuku had sat upon the hospital bed, beside him sat his dad looking up at the doctor whom had the test results that they were waiting to hear.

"Well, frankly we had someone else look at the information we received, and for someone at such a young age to have such a disorder is interesting.",

"E-Eh?? Disorder?", Hisashi asked.
"Dissociative amnesia, usually related trauma or stress, and or both. Hm.. the inability to recall important information whether it be personal, and or something that happened just moments earlier. The information lost is not forgotten but just buried deeply within the mind. If it is stress related, that is the mind getting rid of that by 'disposing' of ones memory of thoughts and feelings.", the doctor concluded. Izuku listened then looked up at the doctor. "S-so it's nothing to bad..?", he asked fidgeting with his fingers.

The doctor refrained herself from saying something that'd scare the boy, in return she nodded and left while Hisashi followed behind allowing him and the doctor to speak privately without another set of ears listening in on the situation.

Soon Hisashi and Izuku were headed home with their newly found information.

Izuku could never be fully aware of his disability. He'd only just be confused after forgetting the recent information, but if it's not completely lost, that just means it can be dug up again. Imagine all those lost stressful, traumatic memories that have been buried deep within the mind, being dug up again. The amount of mental pain that would flood through the boys head, watch the psychological damage turn to physical damage, maybe another way to cope. Or not.

Even more traumatizing. But the disability can't save him all the time. It can't erase all traumatic experiences. It can't erase all the traumatic memories. Some will forever be bestowed upon the surface of his mind, replaying like a catchy pop song. No matter how much stress it may put on the boy. It still lingers.

Hisashi put Izuku in his room, in which the small boy took a nap to pass time, Hisashi said they could go see Mitsuki and Katsuki. Which made Izuku excited, as always seeing Katsuki gives Izuku that usual rush of excitement, seeing his bestfriend, his only bestfriend, his only friend, makes him much happier than perceived.

Hisashi then made his way to the living area, in which he looked at his wife. "I put Izuku down for a nap." Hisashi said looking at Inko.

Inko looked up at him "where'd you guys go?", she rose a brows staring at him.

"What..? I told you I was taking him to the hospital. Mitsuki noticed he was having memory issues", he looked away sighing.

"Memory issues? really? Why do you waste so much money on him, appointments, and hospital visits aren't free, we don't have all the money in the world. He takes up all our money, even then hes ungrateful.", she mumbled looking at the tv.

Hisashi furrowed his brows "Excuse me..? He's no where near as ungrateful as you.. All you do I-is..", he stammered on his words not wanting to be offensive towards his wife, but it came out anyways, "All you do is l-lay around and do nothing, you put him through so much. And even then, you don't take care of him, you hurt him-", he was interrupted by an infuriated Inko.

"He told you?! That brat fucking swore-", she growled standing abruptly quickly walking her way to Izukus quiet room swinging the door open. "Izuku!!", she screamed as Izuku opened his eyes looking at her, he scanned her face looking at her raged expression, he sat up and back away against his wall. "Wh-What?...", Izukus eyes filled with tears, as terror overflowed throughout his small body.

Hisashis eyes widened, chasing after his wife. He pulled her out of his sons room, "he hadn't told me anything. But you just outed yourself.", Hisashi bit his lip hoping he wouldn't later regret he next choice of words. "I can't love someone who can't love my son. I'd rather ensure my sons safety, than watch m-my.. my wife destroy him little by little. We're getting a divorce, you will sign the papers. And you will stay away from Izukus room.",

Inko tensed. "You? Divorcing me?", she began to laugh "that's your best joke yet, this is my house, so you'd have to leave.", she laughed more.
Hisashi shrugged, "and? Izuku and I would probably be happier in a smaller place, including away from you.", he let her go and stepped away. "I'm taking Izuku to Mitsukis for the time being", he mumbled walking into Izukus room picking him up gently.
"A-ah... daddy.. w-whys.. she mad..", tears overflowed down Izukus cheeks.

Hisashi sighed. "Calm down.. you need to start telling me things though. You've been letting her hurt you for no reason.",

Izuku rests his head against his fathers shoulder as they walked out of the house and down the street to mitsukis house. "Cause.. I bad... she said..", he mumbled relaxing against his fathers shoulder.

"You're not bad... I promise..", he whispered to izuku rubbing his back gently.
Izuku closed his eyes as they arrived, Hisashi knocked as the door opened a few moments after.
"Hisashi? You're dropping Izuku off?..", she looked at the tired boy resting against his shoulder.
"Hm.. I.. I'll tell you.. can I lie him down on the couch so he can sleep a bit longer..", he asked hesitantly, he hated bothering Mitsuki so much, but he was overly grateful that Mitsuki was so understanding, and calm about all the situations that'd occur.

Mitsuki nodded letting Hisashi in, he walked into the living area laying Izuku along the couch gently, he kissed his sons forehead gently then walked to the kitchen with Mitsuki following behind. "So what happened?..", Mitsuki asked with a calm voice.
Hisashi took a deep and shaky breath sitting at the kitchen table. "Inko had been hurting Izuku behind my back when I couldn't watch him... shes been verbally and physically abusive towards him and I-I.. I-I cant do.. I can't help him... so.. Me and Inko will be getting a divorce... and when I get home I'll be packing our things.", he concluded looking down fidgeting with his fingers.
"Why don't you keep the house?", she rose a brow.
"Ah.. because.. well it's too big for two people.. and Inko bought it because she was more stable with money, I was in charge of bills back then. She worked for the house money...",

Mitsuki sighed.
"And his memory issue, is another problem.. but hopefully it won't be as bad after we get away from Inko..",
"Memory issue? You guys figured out what it was?", Mitsuki asked.
"Oh uh.. Dissociative a-amnesia?.. it's.. it's a disorder related with.. with stress and trauma, is what the doctor said, so if something stresses him out to much I guess he'll just forget about it..", Hisashi mumbled standing. "I need to go to work.. then get the divorce papers.. and then I need to pack our things, do you mind watching him until tomorrow.. maybe take him to school- I-if not it's fine I'll find a way to take him.", Hisashi sighed rubbing the back of his neck.

"How about this.. I'll watch Izuku until you get things settled, ok? I'm sure Izuku doesn't mind being here, and Katsuki enjoys him being around. And he's a very simple kid to watch. So it's no problem at all.",

Hisashi nodded thanking her before leaving.

Katsuki had been up in his room coloring, while Izuku had been sleeping on the couch.

Mitsuki laid a blanket along the small boy, after sitting beside him watching tv.
