The Quest for Dimentio

Chapter 14

Everyone was thrown into the weird void. "What just happened??" Mr. L asked. Everyone looked around. Suddenly, there was panic. Bowser was already making his way to the Mushroom kingdom file. "Nonono, after him!" Luigi called out. They all chased after him. Mr. L summoned some green thunder with his hands and shot it right at Bowser as he fell through the portal. They all followed.

They popped out back at the Mushroom Kingdom behind Peach's castle, but no one could see Bowser. "How in the heck did he get away so fast??" Daisy asked when suddenly, Luigi hugged her. "Daisy, I'm so glad you're okay!" She rolled her eyes and patted his head. "Hey, Luigi! Glad to see ya!" Mr. L laughed at them, "All right you two lovebirds, where do we go from here?" Luigi looked shocked. "You mean, you're going to help us take him down? I thought you were just in this to find Dimentio and that you would leave once we got him." Dimentio looked over at them. They really did come for him. Mr. L shrugged. "And miss out on an opportunity to beat up Bowser? No way! This adventure thing is kinda fun!" Dimentio smiled, but then felt kinda down. He felt a little like he shouldn't be there with them all. He began to float away when Mr. L grabbed his foot. "Whoa, Dim, where do you think you're going?" Dimentio turned to face him. Mr. L continued. "I'm not letting you get away from me that easily."

Bowser disappeared among the shadows. "Now, I got them all in one spot, I just need to find a way to take them all down." He pulled out the Dark Prognosticus. "If they all work together, I'm going to need some help taking them down...." Suddenly, he heard some whistling. He looked over and saw Mario strolling along with what looked to be some groceries. "Perfect." Bowser had been reading the Dark Prognosticus for some time, and he knew all about making Floro Sprouts.

"This way. We can rest up at my house. Mario is usually out at this time shopping or talking to Peach." Luigi called. Dimentio whispered to Mr. L, "I don't know how I feel about going into that man's house." Mr. L rolled his eyes. "You'll get over it eventually." They all arrived. Mr. L hesitated before walking in. Dimentio laughed. "Don't worry L, you'll get over it eventually." "Shut up" Mr. L said, as they walked in.

Luigi turned to Mr. L and Dimentio. "Do you two know if you could build something to help us take Bowser down?" Mr. L and Dimentio exchanged glances and smiled. "I think we could come up with something." Luigi smiled back. "Good. Since Bowser is looking for us, I am going to warn some of the townsfolk. He is after our souls, so he will likely bring the battle to us, so I need to make sure there are as little people in here as possible! Luigi made his way for the door. "In the meantime, we need to try to be ready!"

Daisy, Mr. L, and Dimentio were amazed. "Wow, he really just took initiative there. He really stepped up, I'm so proud of him." Daisy said. Mr. L and Dimentio looked at one another, "Alright, let's build ourselves a robot. Daisy, do you know if there's any spare parts lying around here?" Daisy looked over to them. "Mario has a bunch of junk in his room. You can probably find stuff in there." The two groaned. Daisy rolled her eyes. "Guys, it's just a stupid room. It's not like I'm making you guys talk to him."

Luigi ran out to the town. "Everyone, you gotta get out of here. Something big is coming." Everyone looked confused. "Get out of here guys! You gotta-" Suddenly, a ball of fire shot right past Luigi's head. "Fire? That's weird..." Suddenly, the crowd fell silent. Luigi turned around and gasped.
