Eren's POV:

*Time skip: Spring*

It's been a few months since Mikasa and I visited Zeke and things couldn't have been better. We still haven't announced our relationship yet, but keeping it a secret was kinda fun for the two of us. I was more open to our friends and even had some emotional talks here and there, but I never got comfortable telling them about my parents and old friends. Mikasa would tell me that I'll eventually come around and I hope she's right.

I was at home playing Little Big Planet 3 with Armin when I felt my phone vibrate. I pulled it out and glanced down. It was Mikasa.

Mikasa

Hey Babe! ❤️

Eren

Hey Mika!

Mikasa

Can I ask you to do me a big favor?

Eren

What do you need babe?

Mikasa

Meet me at the cafe tomorrow around noon

Eren

Sure thing

any particular reason?

Mikasa

I put my phone down and looked back at the screen.

Armin: "Who was that?"

Eren: "Mikasa. She wants to have a date at the cafe... I think."

Armin: "What do you mean 'I think'?"

Eren: "Well normally she'd just ask to go somewhere and it's a date, but just right now she asked me to do her a favor."

Armin: "A favor? I mean that's one way to ask for a date."

Eren: "Maybe I'm overthinking it."

Armin: "Probably. Now can you focus? We've been on this level for an hour now."

*Time skip: Next day*

I was sitting at the cafe alone. I arrived pretty early before noon and just waiting for Mikasa. I ordered both of us some floats as I pulled at my phone and waited at the booth. After a few minutes, the doorbell rang and I saw Mikasa came in. I waved my hand and she saw me and smiled.
