"...No."

It took Ra's a second to comprehend what the demigod said before he started to boil in rage; not wanting to believe that the rejection was so certain.

With his hands shaking in anger, Ra's put on a fake smile,

"Are you sure about that, Perseus? Are you truly going to abandon your mother's opportunity like that?"

Percy felt his heart twinge with doubt, but it went away once he thought of what his mother would want. He tipped his head defiantly, gritting out, "You can't manipulate me so easily. Try again, never."

Ra's smile dipped into his automatic scowl; his piercing eyes shifted to a hard gaze.

"Well, it seems I will have to go the extra measure. As of this minute, I have my men readied at my command, to attack that very same hospital your mother resides in. If you do not want your mother dead, then I suggest you give in and accept my generous offer."

Percy's head was dipped, a shadow covering his face while also terrifyingly high-lighting his most defined features. His silence made Ra's nerves go haywire, while his anxiety went through the roof.

Ra's needed Percy for many things, and if it were to go through, he might make him train his grandson.

Percy's sea-green eyes were reflecting off the lights perfectly, making it look like there was a glow in them. His tone was hard enough to make chills run down the assassins' backs.

"Pretty foolish of you to think you can threaten a demigod."

The son of Poseidon suddenly ripped himself out of his chair, the metallic rope went flying elsewhere. Ra's stood up abruptly, already in a fighting stance, while the rest of the assassins in the room were still trying to process what the demigod had just done.

Percy and Ra's both went straight for the other, engaging in an even match of hand to hand.

Ra's had quick and calculated strikes, using an overwhelming strength against the demigod. This development made Percy slip into his adaptive technique, fluidly stopping the elder's fists with practiced precision.

Ra's pushed himself harder, nearly getting Percy a few times, but it seems like luck is on the son of Poseidon's side.

Talia and Ubu stood off to the side, not able to keep up with the two fighters. Both of them were a blur, but Talia could tell that Percy was holding himself back. The way he was able to catch every single strike with exact coordination amazed her.

In time, Ra's began to slow, allowing Percy to find his opportunity. Taking it; he jabbed his palm into the elder's throat.

The old man stumbled backward, grasping at his throat; not fast enough to comprehend a foot coming his way. He went flying into the wall with a hard crash, the sound of his spine cracking was loud enough for everyone to hear.

Spitting out the blood pooling into his mouth, Ra's rasped out, "Get him!"

The soldiers that were lined up by the gateway immediately strode towards Percy with their weapons readied. Talia had rushed to her father's side, gently pulling him to his feet.

The old man winced in pain as his back cracked from the movement, his bones grinding against others as he collapsed to the ground.

Talia barely caught her father, careful to touch his wounds as she said, "Let us go, father. We must get you inside."
