(A/N) ^These are the scenes that I used for context. I'm changing how it's going to go after the scene ends. I'm also going by Arkham wiki for some details, such as how Jason was kidnapped and for how long.

Warning!! Mention of blood and gore.

- 3RD PERSON -

November 13, 2014. 1:30 AM, The Abandonded Arkham asylum.
(During Talia and Damian's conversation.)

Thwack!

"AH!" Robin cried in pain, falling to the cement with a thud. He struggled to regain his pace of breath, groaning as his ribs continued to crack from forced expansion.

"Wow. That looked like it really hurt." A voice sneered tauntingly before lifting a crowbar and thrusting it downwards. The impact was followed by a grunt of pain, repeating as more hits were inflicted. The sickening sound of bones crunching made a grin appear on the lunatic's lips.

Thwack!

"Whoop, now hang on. That looked like it hurt a lot more." The Joker mocked, tapping the crowbar against his palm. "So, let's try and clear this up now, okay, pumpkin?"

Robin barely heard him, almost deaf to sound as he tried to focus on the villain.

Joker sneered, "What hurts more? A- Thwack! or B?- Thwack! Forehand- Thwack! or backhand?- Thwack!"

Rather than stopping, he kept going, relishing the cries of agony. He finally paused to laugh in delight as Robin withered on the ground. The boy wonder was stripped of his weapons, with his suit tattered and soiled with blood. His hands were bound by cuffs behind his back, with the cold metal cutting into his wrists. It's been months since the Joker kidnapped him, and his hope for his mentor to come and save him was wearing thin.

Glancing at the madman, he tried to speak.

"...mhmm..eh.."

Instead of words, he let out low guttural sounds. With a wicked grin, the Joker leaned down next to him. "Mm-mm eh? A little louder lambchop.~"

Caressing the boy's head, he kept mocking the young hero, "I think you have a collapsed lung. That always impedes the oratory."

To his surprise, Robin spat blood on his face in response. With a disgruntled scowl, the Joker slammed the boy's face into the ground.

"Now that was rude." He sneered as he wiped away the blood with a handkerchief. "The first boy blunder had some manners."

Robin turns his head enough to give the clown a bloody grin. Due to the letter J carved into his cheek, his cheek burned at the stretch of the smile.

Unimpressed, the Joker sighed, "I suppose I'm just going to have to teach you a lesson so that you'll follow in his footsteps." With a second to think, he changed his mind. "Nah, I'm just gonna keep beating you with this crowbar."

With that being said, he stomped his foot down on the boy's back and raised the crowbar in the air. Robin tightly closed his eyes as he anticipated the blow.

. . . . .

Batman raced through the streets of Gotham in the batmobile. The monitor on the dash displayed the on-call feed with his most recent ward, Tim Drake.

"Are you sure you should be doing this? We're so close to finding Jason on our own. You don't have to turn to her for information."

Glancing at the screen, Batman gave a monotonous response, "Joker is getting more and more confident with his games. These little tricks he uses are getting tiresome. I won't wait any longer for him to come forward with Jason."
