(A/N) Sorry for the long wait.

- 3RD PERSON -

November 12, 2014. 11:20 AM, Percy's Apartment.

Despite expressing surprise, the young woman smiled and awkwardly waved. Percy let a small smile grace his lips when he spotted the boy, beckoning him to come over.

"Damian, you're just in time. I would like you to meet-"

"Save it, father." He glowered, gripping his fists tightly. "I don't care about your prostitute."

"Goodness!" The lady gasped in bewilderment, cupping her belly in reflex. Damian eyed her stomach with a scrutinizing gaze; it doesn't take a genius to know she's pregnant. Her first instinct was to protect it, and it's too prominent to be considered obese.

Percy's expression darkened, shock still evident in his eyes, "Damian, you don't speak to adults that way."

Instead of abiding by his father's words, the boy scoffed before running back upstairs. The raven-haired man could only shake his head, wondering what the problem was wrong now.

"I'm sorry for coming unannounced, Percy," The woman murmured with an uneasy smile. "I didn't expect you to have any other guests."

With a tired sigh, Percy waved her off. "It's alright. Thank you for coming anyway. What was it that you wanted to give me?"

The lady's face broke into a bright smile, pulling out an envelope as she started excitedly explaining, "I had my ultrasound this morning, and I got pictures for you."

Percy couldn't help but grin; the thought of his unborn sibling always put a smile on his face.

The woman in front of him is Elizabeth Adler: or as she prefers, Liz. She's the surrogate mother he had picked to carry his younger sibling. He chose her because she was close to his mom's age and had many other similarities with her.

They carried the same gentle aura and somehow had the same faint smell of freshly baked cookies. Appearance-wise is a bit troubling considering Liz and his mom were opposites.

While Sally had long brown hair and sparkling blue eyes, Liz had short honeycomb hair and soft brown orbs.

In this case, the similarity between the biological mother and the surrogate is essential. It's so that the baby won't be too overwhelmed by the sudden change in maternal figures. It's concerning, but it will only be a problem in the future.

Which isn't too far away considering that Liz was already 7 months pregnant. As Percy had hoped, she took good care of his sibling and was very careful when it came to the press. Since she lived in the building, it was expected for her to pop in now and then.

The black and white ultrasound photos in his hands provided clear images of the nearly developed infant.

Tracing the tiny figure with his thumb, Percy chuckled, "Thank you. I'm sorry that I wasn't there... I just got a little caught up in some business."

Liz raised an eyebrow, "I bet; what's his name?"

Her subtle reference to Damian almost made him reply out of reflex. Thankfully, he caught himself before he could reveal anything.

"...I can't say."

Liz went to ask why but realized how absent-minded Percy was. Deciding not to push any further, she feigned a yawn, "Alright then, well, uh- I have to get going. I'm due for my afternoon nap."

Sensing her understanding, Percy sighed with ease, "Well, thanks for visiting. I'll stop by whenever I get the chance."

"Alright."
