(A/N) A lot of the DC information on the Demon's head and whatever happened in the actual series is being alternated to fit the story. So please don't get on me about what happens in whatever series you watched or read.
- 3RD PERSON -
November 11, 2014. 7:15 PM, Percy's apartment.
"What? Not going to greet an old friend?" Talia asked, her smirk irritating the man in front of her. Despite how angry he was, Percy could see the stress in her eyes. So in a civil tone, he said, "We are not friends."
"Oh really? I thought we were after I saved you."
Percy said nothing, instead just staring at the assassin as he tried to think of what to say. He couldn't deny it since it was true in a way. Suddenly, the said female's eyes widened in alarm, "Wait-!"
Out of pure instinct, the demigod turned just in time to stop a kick to his head.
At first sight, he noticed how they were fully dressed in black and were wearing a mask to cover their identity. Their stature was small, but that didn't stop them from leaping over the demigod with ease.
They landed on the countertop, not hesitating to continue their attack.
They leaped towards him with their foot out, meaning to inflict another blow to his head. Luckily, Percy grabbed their ankle in midair, throwing the small assassin across the room. To his shock, the person managed to land on their feet before coming at him once more.
They punched at his abdomen, but he dodged it and jabbed his elbow down into their back. The force of the impact made them stumble a little, even forcing a grunt out of them. The little assassin used his knee as a step stool to help them strike their knee into his chin.
The hit itself shocked Percy, almost making him drop to a knee if it weren't for his pain tolerance.
Out of reflex, he held up his arms to block a fist coming at his face, surprised when it never came.
The assailant had faked the blow, twisting around to punch at his temple. Dodging the fist, Percy trapped their arm against his neck and dropped them to the floor. The sudden bang of their body was loud, enough to even make Talia flinch.
The small person only grunted in pain, huffing out a breath when they realized that Percy had them pinned. Through the slit of their mask, they glared at him with their piercing green eyes.
A pair of eyes that shook Percy to his core.
Stumbling to his feet, the son of Poseidon stared at them with bewilderment. His eyes followed their every move as they stood up as well. Talia approached the two of them with a blank expression.
"Now that the two of you have finally calmed down, I think it's time to introduce you to one another." She started, her hand gripping the small assailant's shoulder. Licking her lips, she spoke with a calm tone, "Perseus, meet Damian."
The little assassin pulled their mask off, showing the face of a young boy. The boy's features were strikingly similar to Percy's, with a pair of eyes that could be easily mistaken for his own. If you were close enough, like how close Percy was before; you could spot small blue hues within them. Despite being very small, the boy could not be older than 7.
"Damian... meet your father."
. . . . .
"What game are you playing?" Percy growled, his tone as quiet as a whisper. Talia stood in front of him with her face blank of emotion, but he could see her inner battle. She was nervous, even a bit scared. The boy from before was sitting in the kitchen, eating the meal that she prepared for him.
