---Evelyns POV---

"I can't believe he tried to force you into marrying him." Lilly laughed as we walked into the restaurant.

"Keep your voice down. If my dad hears us, he'll kill that guy and I'd rather avoid all that drama." I rolled my eyes with a smirk.

"Are you going to see your mom tomorrow?" Her expression turned a little pale.

"I don't know.. we'll see how it goes." I shook my head and looked to the cashier. "Can I just have a cup of O positive please?" I pulled the money out of my purse and placed it on the counter.

"You come in here everyday and order the same thing. Don't you ever get tired of it?" He smiled and handed me my cup.

"Is that code for you're getting tired of me coming in and ordering the same thing?" I sipped on my straw and watched as he counted my change.

"Absolutely not, you're the highlight of my boring days." He smirked handing me the change.

"Then I'm welcome to keep coming back?" I tucked the change in my purse and stepped back letting the next in line to order.

"Please do beautiful." He winked at me as I walked back to Lilly's side.

"You flirt with him everyday. Just ask him out already." She snickered as we walked outside into the sunshine.

"I flirt with anything with legs. I'm a natural flirt." I rolled my eyes walking out the door.

"Hey girls." Rosa stepped in front of us.

"Hey Grandma. We just stopped for a drink. We're getting back to class now." I smiled as Lilly froze in her steps.

"Take your time. Mr K is in a conference right now. Has Zeus come for his visit yet?"

"No not yet, he said he'd be a little late because he wanted to stop and see Elea."

"Oh.. I see your not doing very well with that topic then.."

"Uhm... I'm doing just fine on any topic. If you'll excuse me, I have a class that needs me to teach them how to summon their own body warmth since they want to appear to be as human as possible." I rolled my eyes and walked away.

"Eve, you need to go see your mother at some point!" She yelled as Lilly ran and caught up with me.

"Maybe when I'm fucking dead alright." I sighed sipping on my drink.

"Are you okay?" Lilly asked while we walked back.

"Just fine. Forget about it. Have you heard from your dads yet?"

"Yes I did. Dad said I'm a grown ass adult and to make my own decisions and my Pops said to check my blood intake before going."

"Great, I'll see you tomorrow and we can leave. I'm so excited to move to London." I bit my lip in excitement. "And of course to be roomies with my best friend... who happens to be my cousin, you understand how lame that is right?"

"Very lame. See you tomorrow." She stuck out her tongue and ran into the building. I rolled my eyes and walked in behind her.

Sitting on the very first wall you could see, was the large picture of my own Grandpa, Jarrod James Riley. I don't remember him but he gave his life for his daughter. I think it was noble of him but it pisses me off because she refused to even acknowledge his sacrifice. I wish I could have got the chance to know him. He seemed like the kind of father I wish I could have had.
