This one is huge. These mistakes are made over and over, in every fandom, everywhere.
1) If the characters have romantic feelings for each other at least before chapter 10, then you might want to re-think. Love develops slowly, and it takes even longer for something to actually happen between newly in-love characters.
2) When they do something they would never, ever do. A lot of characters don't engage romantically. Captain America..... He's not all kissy and huggy. And he would never. Ever. Ever. Ever. Do anything more than that, unless he had been married for 1000 years. And he probably wouldn't fall in love with someone unless he's known them for several years. This goes for a lot of people too. Katniss is the same way. And Percy Jackson. And a ton of other people. They don't do stuff like that. It's almost gross and cringe-worthy.
