Regarding the Ships

In honor of a rather large ship, we have some Celine Dion. Enjoy. If you can.

It's just a little pitchy.

Ships are very fragile things. Death, sparking boyfriends and many other things can ruin them easily.

One thing I can guarantee you'll find within fanfictions is broken up canon ships. Like Harry and Ginny are broken up. Or Ron and Hermione, Percabeth, or Rose Tyler and the Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor. (that's right. I'm a Whovain now)

Seeing these ships terminated, it's very painful. And usually they're replaced with weirder ships, like Draco and Harry, or Dramonie, or Nico and Percy.

*Shudder*

Yes, it's extremely weird.

But it's your book! Do whatever you want! Go! Do it! Break up my OTPs!

Honestly, it's your imagination. No one can tell you what to do. Yes, it probably will weird people out a little. But you're a fangirl. That's your job.

And I will ways, always, defend the right of a fangirl/boy to ship whatever they want (so long as it doesn't promote unhealthy relationship habits). But I will just say that people are going to find it strange when their OTPs are broken up (for reference, see shipping war in comments). It will take hard work and good writing to prove the worthiness of your ship. And if you can, all the power to you.

ONWARDS!

One of the HUGE parts of writing fanfiction is adatping to the personalities of the characters, or two of the characters together. Percabeth is not going to... be unrealistically in love. That's not them. And Steve Rodgers and Tony Stark practically hate each other.(STEGGY TO THE END! Most. Painful. Ship. Ever. Love Cap. Hate Stark. Their ship is strange.)

Remember the characters. What would they really do?
