Why To Have Good Grammar In Your Fanfictions

This is cliché and we all know it, okay? Typical rant book, typical grammar rant chapter.

I am going to go over the most common grammar/spelling errors and follow it up with something different: why you should use proper grammar.

Onwards!

Your is possessive. Your cat. Your house. It belongs to you.

You're means you are. You're silly. You're bad at grammar.

Let's put it into a equation:

You're insane = you are insane.

Your insane = the insane that belongs to you.

I'm pretty sure that's not the same, but who knows, I'm delusional.

I realize that most of my readers are well-educated. You is not you, the smart reader, it's YOU as in YOU ALL GET EDUCATED.

Sorry.

Also, they're, their, and there are three different words. I'm not going to get into that.

If you have learned these in school, if your education has reached that level, then yeah, you should take advantage of that. Most Wattpaders, including myself, speak English and have reached that level.

I understand completely that there are younger Wattpad members, and some people on this website
