Sometimes stereotypes are okay. Usually, you can pull them off. I'm just saying, they happen a lot, that's all. I have read and am reading great, stereotypical stories. I don't think they're bad because they're stereotypical. They're just very common, and readers like variety.
1) AVENGERS- This is a big one. Chat rooms. They are a lot chat rooms. Seriously. Or Steve Rodgers/Loki/Bucky fanfiction. There are also addtional Avenger fanfictions, as well as daugher-of Avenger ones too. Usually, you can pull these off, you just see so many of them, it takes extra work to come out on top.
2) PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS/HEROES OF OLYMPUS- This is so bad. One of the only ones- A prophecy involving Percabeth's kids.
3) THE HUNGER GAMES- Panem High. Yep. That one. And also, Panem High. So many of those, it's crazy.
4) LORD OF THE RINGS- Legolas fanfiction. Kili fanfiction. Fili fanfiction, Thorin fanfiction. There you have it. Also, chat rooms, and a female in the Fellowship. I love some stories under those categories, but... wow. There's a ton of them.
As always, more to come later, for sure.
