Yes, there is sound there.
Or at least there should be. (Does it work? Tell me what you think of Wattpad sound!)
[Edit: they got rid of Wattpad sound, but there was some "Hedwig's Theme" there to help set the mood]
I always seem to forget Harry Potter-- because it's so awesome, HP is implied. I could never forget Harry!
Here are some tips on fanfiction:
1) The Stereotypes-
Sibling of the Goldren Trio.
Everyone lives at the Burrow.
I had a few listed before that were actually canon, but I didn't know it. Upon editing, this was fixed, but that means not very many people have gone off the book. Diversity is key.
Again: Not bad, just very common.
2) Try To Adapt to the British Slang
Realise. Socialise. Mate. Merlin's beard. All of that. It's hard, and even if it's just the spelling, the difference is noticeable. I myself need to go back and edit, and change the way I phrase things. Make it a little more English and a little bit more realistic.
3) Dramonie is... Strange.
My opinion. It sorta freaks me out. Now I know that's supposed to be canon, but sometimes I have to ignore that because NO and Neville and Luna were real, and I don't care what Pottermore says.
