Subject: Get Well Soon Card
Date: October 8th 2013Do you remember when I caught the chicken pox this time last year? You were amazed and amused that it had taken me 17 years to catch it. I will never forget you knocking on my bedroom door and walking in with a tea towel held against your face as a "mask". You shoved a get well soon card into my hands (well, mittened hands. That is to say, I was wearing oven gloves. Which you found hilarious.). You had made it yourself, and in your beautifully fancy handwriting it read: "Get well soon, life is boring without you!" I still have it, it sits on my bedside table. I love to look at it, and read it over and over. Although, now the message is aimed at you.
I hope you're okay.
Love, Beth x
