Subject: Walking Indie on the Beach
Date: 6th April 2014Long time no one-way talk! I'm back at home for spring break. Enjoying a few weeks of lie-ins, TV marathons, and most importantly, good food. I've been here a couple of days now, and the Cornish air seems to be doing good things to me. I've been taking your dog, Indie, out for walks in the evenings, like we used to do every Sunday. Indie doesn't like to gossip about boys or moan about school, though, she prefers chasing sticks and rolling in poo. So, instead, I spend the time doing a lot of thinking.
Last night we walked across Bude beach. The same one you visited when you decided that you needed to leave. I can see why you went there, its so peaceful. I wanted to stay there all night, and bury myself so deep into the sand that no one could see me; to walk into the sea until I found you, but I couldn't, because something has happened. I'm sorry.
I hope you're okay.
Love, Beth x
