Subject: Happy 21st Birthday!
Date: 25th March 2015Happy 21st birthday! I hope you're happy today, and having a massive party with all your angelic friends. Sophie and I shared a slice of birthday cake in your memory. Well, I'm wearing more on face than I have in my belly, but the sentiment was there.
Sophie and I are doing quite good, actually. Sophie is now a 3 months old and I feel better, much better. I stopped therapy, it wasn't working for me anymore. You're still in my dreams, but that's okay, at least you're still with me somehow. I'd do anything to have you back here with me but I think you well know that I can't carry on sending these messages out into the void. Sometimes you have to let go of the past and look towards the future, other times the past is the one chasing you towards the where you were always meant to be going. I'm not sure where I'm meant to be going, but for one thing I am certain: I love you. I will always love you. That's it. That's all I have to say. I wish I could give you some clever line, or some great big dramatic speech, but I can't. All I can do is tell you the truth.
I'll never forget you.
Beth x
