Olivia (POV)
Currently I'm standing with my elbows leaning on the kitchen counter of the restaurant. I'm waiting for the order to be prepared so I can serve them to the customer.
After the embarrassment I faced back in orphanage, Mr. Maxwell offered me a ride to restaurant but I denied him politely saying that it was just a street away.
To be honest, this thing is being too much for me. Every time he's around I don't know what I'm doing. It's like I becomes a different person.
I have never experienced this kind of feeling in my 22 years of life and it's kind of scaring me.
So I decided to maintain some distance from him.
"Olivia" Liam snapped his fingers bringing me back to present.
"Huh" now standing straight.
"I called you thrice, the order is ready."
"Oh sorry. I will place them" taking the order I walked towards table no.7 and placed the tray in front of them.
"Anything else, sir?"
"No. Thanks" the man smiled.
"Hope you enjoy your dinner" with that I walked back into the kitchen.
With Placing and serving orders, my shift came to an end.
As it's been a while since I took my online class, I decided to stay and study.
I placed my laptop and notebooks on the top of the table.
An email notification popped up on the screen, I clicked on it to see that it's about my exams.
They are in 3 weeks and also I need to submit assignment in 10 days.
Shit! Shit!
I was so busy with all this drama that I completely forgot about assignment and exam.
Placing my hands on my head, cursing myself. After I was done with cursing myself, I opened the site of the university from which I have enrolled for Bachelor in Arts
Freya always complained about why I took Arts as a subject, why not something more interesting.
I always wanted to become a writer. While I was in orphanage, I used to read books and think that one day I will write them too. I was a kid back then but as I grew up, that dream of becoming a writer became stronger
People think it's boring but for me it's super interesting
I logged into my id and started listening to my lectures, occasionally jolting down some notes.
"Bye goodnight" Claudia yelled from the kitchen as I exited the restaurant.
It's 9 already and I'm hungry. I just ate a sandwich for lunch and studying after so long stressed me out.
