He bent his head down coming closer to me, his breath fanning on my face then he softly placed a kiss on my cheeks.
My face turned red with just a mere touch of his.
"Are you okay?" He asked looking concern
"Ye-yeah" I cleared my throat
He eyed me for a second then his eyes travelled down to take a look at me.
"Beautiful"
"you don't look too bad yourself " I said looking at his grey fitted suit.
He chuckled at my response and mumbling a thankyou
"Shall we?" He gestured with his hand
I nodded and walking out of the apartment locking the door behind.
Entering the elevator, I again started to feel the weird feeling in my stomach.
We walked towards his car, he opened the door for me. It's not a big deal but every time he does that, my heart melts.
"Where are we going?" I asked him as soon as we were on the road
"It's a surprise" he replied
"I hate surprises" I mumble softly
"Well you won't anymore" he laughed softly
His laugh is like a sweet song in my ear, I didn't know I was smiling at him for so long.
"Why are you smiling?" He asked looking at me then back at the road
"Nothing, just looking at you"
He raised his eyebrows, amused not expecting this answer
"What? I can talk sweet" I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah, sure" he snigger
"You don't believe, do you?"
"Well you can't blame me, I remember the first talk we had" he replied mocking me
I remember the first conversation we had and laughed when I realized what I said to him.
"Sorry" I chuckled
He shake his head.
We entered a large building about 50 floors large. We climbed out of the car after parking it.
I crane my neck up to look at the building, the glass window making it look so elegant and posh.
We took the elevator Charles press the 47th floor.
I didn't speak or asked anything, I was feeling a bit awkward. I have never been to this side of New York, it's were all rich people lives.
The elevator dings, we stepped out. Stopping at the door he opened by pressing some button on the keypad, unlocking the door.
He turned the lights on stepping aside to let me walk through.
It was his penthouse. It was so big and fancy, lavishly modern. Large windows covered with white curtains from where the whole city can be seen, White Walls, hanging there expensive painting, huge Crystal chandelier hanging on the ceiling, a large sofa over white furry carpet, square shaped white marbled table placed in middle with flat screen hanging on wall completing the entire look of this place.
A piano place near the window look so extravagant and a staircase leading to bedrooms.
"Wow" I said in awed.
"Like it?"
"It's very beautiful" I said walking towards the glass window looking at the view.
"The surprise awaits upstairs" he took a step near me sliding his arms around my waist. Goosebumps forming over my body
