My voice got stuck in my throat, when I saw him staring at me without blinking. Suddenly I realised I'm still on his arms, clearing my throat to get his attention. He blinked his eyes, putting me down on the floor.

"I uh. Um thank-k you" I face palmed myself mentally for shuttering.

He just walked out without even saying a word making me stunned.

I run after him, "Mr Maxwell wait"

He turned around, facing me but before I can even speak a word someone came from behind placing their arms on my shoulder.

"Hey party girl" a familiar voice reached my ears, making me look at the person. Brandon.

"Hi"

"We meet again"

"Um" I gazed at Mr Maxwell to see him glaring at the hands on my shoulder, clinching his jaw.

I step aside making Brandon arms fall off my shoulder.

"Whatcha doing her-" he got interrupted by Mr Maxwell stomping away leaving me and Brandon confused.

"What happened to him?" Brandon asked

I shrugged my shoulder not knowing the answer. Maybe he is still angry from yesterday's incident.

Go Talk to him. My brain interject.

"Hey are you okay?" Brandon furrowed his eyebrows looking at me.

"Yeah. Uh can I talk to you later. I have some work to do" I tried sounding as polite as possible.

"Okay" he replied and walked out of the hallway.

Sighing deeply, I rubbed my forehead.

I turned around to see Mrs Williams coming towards me.

"Mrs Williams, I have been searching for you" I told her

"Sorry dear. I have been little busy with all these works" she smiled looking tired.

I looked at her arching my eyebrows up, the look you give someone when you're about to scold them

She understood what I'm trying to say, "I know I know I shouldn't work much. But there was so many wor-"

"What I'm here for?" I cut her off, grabbing her hands and pulling her towards her office.

"I'm alright, child" she rolled her eyes at me

I ignored her, opening the door of her office and then making her sit on the chair.

"Now I will do the work. You sit here and tell me what work should I do" I said mentally face palming myself when I realized what I just said. I don't even know what work do.

She chuckled seeing my reaction, "everything is done. Just be on time tomorrow"

"Yes Mrs Williams" I said in a tone like (yesssssss Mr Williamsssss)

Shaking her head at me, "you never grow up"

Just I was about to reply someone knocked at the door.

"Ah, Mr Maxwell. Come come" Mrs stood up from her chair.
