Into the Storm

Chapter One

"Dany, hurry up!" Taylor sighed, picking at her nails.
"Ah!" Dany yelled.

She was straightening her hair and burned her ear. She slowly set her straightener on the marble counter .
"Taylor help!" Dany cried looking at her throbbing ear.

Taylor ran across the kitchen towards the bathroom door. She grabbed the door knob and shook it furiously.
"Dany it won't open. It's locked! Open the door."

Dany opened the door with a painful look on her face. Taylor knew what happened because Dany sucked at hair.
"Let me see." Taylor brushed the brunette locks out of Taylor's face and pushed it behind her ear.

The pain Danielle was in is normal for her. Danielle always went out to drunk college parties and was never home by curfew. Taylor on the other hand was never late. She was always on time for her classes, studied hard, and got almost straight A's in everything.

Taylor took out some cream for Dany's ear and it soothed down the pain.
"Thanks Taylor." Dany pulled her hair into a high pony then pulled down her dress. "I'm hungry."
"That's funny because while you were sleeping in I made pancakes for Jake and I because we were awake." Taylor grabbed her car keys and headed outside. "I'm going to school!" she yelled then left.

Dany crossed her arms and stomped with her right foot. She grabbed a banana then walked outside to find Taylor pulling out of the driveway.
"Are you going to leave me?!" Dany yelled out at Taylor. "I don't have a car!"
"Early bird gets the worm-" Taylor yelled from the window. "In this case the car!"

"Taylor your so dead!" Dany screamed as she walked back into the house.
She threw her bag on the table and marched up the stairs.

"Jake!" Dany knocked on his door. "Jake!"

Jake had dark brown hair and golden eyes. He sat on his desk chair Video chatting some model.
He quickly turned around and turned the laptop screen down. "Heard of knocking before?"
"I did." Dany frowned. "I need you to drive me to school."

Jake sighed, clearly deciding whether he should or not.
"Now!" Dany cried.
Jake sat up and grabbed some clothes.

He took of his shirt to reveal his biceps and tattoos. "Like what you see Snow?" he joked, then pulled on a muscle shirt.
In fact, Dany did like what she saw. But she wouldn't tell anyone that, not even Taylor.
"No." she rolled her eyes. "Can we go now?"
"Yeah." Jake sighed walking past her down the stairs.

They walked outside into the fresh spring air and walked towards his car. Jake unlocked the door and started up the car. "You coming in?" he asked Dany.

She was looking out into the sky and she saw dark clouds forming above them.

"I heard there's going to be another storm." Jake said pulling into her school. "A really big one. Like the ones where they're asking people to leave the whole state."

Dany stared out at her school, watching the other teens walk in. She turned her head to Jake and they locked eyes.

"Who was the girl you twitcamed with?" Dany crossed her arms over her chest staring directly at him with a frown.

He sighed putting his hand to the bridge of his nose. "No one important."
"Really?" Dany said stubbornly. "Not another cougar? Or bimbo?" she shook her head. "Ever heard of a relationship-"
"Of course I had Dany!" Jake slammed his hands on the steering wheels.

Dany quite shocked, flinched and opened the door.
"Wait, I'm sorry-" he started
"Save it." Dany mumbled and slammed the door.

Dany slowly opened the door for her History class- which might I add Taylor's in as well.

She tip toed across the floor to the back of the class. Mr. Zenman was writing stuff on the board so they were facing his back.

Dany let out a sigh which forced her to slap her hand over her mouth. Mr. Zenman turned around to see Dany pulling out her textbook.

He smiled with venom dripping within his eyes and spoke in a boring but sarcastic tone. "Late again, Ms. Snow?" he paused and watched people turn around to face Dany.

She cringed and shyly smiled.
"My car broke down?" Dany said, but it came out more of a question.
"Detention after school." he stated then turned around.

Dany frowned. "But sir," she said biting her lip. "there's supposed to be a storm and I have to go grocery shopping-"

Mr. Zenman turned back around.
"I don't care for excuses." he said annoyed. "One hour."

Dany sighed and watched the rain pour down the windows.

Hi guys! So this was my first chapter and it probably sucked but I'm gonna tell you some stuff about the characters...
So Danielle is portrayed by Sophia Smith. I really think for some reason she would fit as this character. Taylor is portrayed by either Ariana Grande or maybe Selena Gomez...? But Jake is portrayed by Dylan O'Brien, cause... He's hot...
