Into the Storm

Chapter Two

Dany sat down in detention staring outside, watching the rain pour down and slice anything it touches

"I have to take this call." Mr. Zenman said, "stay put." then he walked out the door.

Dany pulled out her phone, 4:37 it read. "Shit." she whispered, "I seriously have to go grocery shopping!"

Right at that moment a pebble got thrown at the window.
Dany reacted the same as any normal person would. She scanned the room to see if there was a metal baseball bat.

"Dany!" someone said.

Dany turned to the window and tip toed over. "Hello?" she asked scared.
She saw Jake below her on the grass holding a bunch of rocks. She shook her head and opened the window wider.

"Your and idiot what if my teacher was still in the room!" Dany yelled down to him.

"Whatever." Jake walked away and brought back a ladder.

"Are you serious?!" Dany yelled. "Your going to get me in so much trouble!"

Jake was soaking wet so Dany really just wanted to get down and go shopping with him. He motioned for her to come down and with a quick check at the door she tossed her bag down along with her purse.

Dany was half way down when the door opened and Mr. Zenman walked in.
"Danielle Snow!" he shouted and raced to the window.
It was too late, Dany and Jake were in his car driving away from the ignorant, annoying teacher.

Dany and Jake were browsing for the food at Apple Shack. They were laughing about Mr. Zenmans lonely love life when an awkward silence came across them.

"Hey, Dany I'm sorry about the whole Twitcam thing..." Jake scratched the back of his neck as they waited in line.

"It's fine, I mean... it's your life not mine, I shouldn't decide who you, erm, mate with." Dany looked at a magazine with Kim Kardashian on the front.

"Did you just say the word mate!" Jake started laughing as Dany's face turned a bright red.

They put the food on the counter and waited for the teenager to count up the prices. She noticed how stunning Jake was and Dany cringed when she noticed him staring at her back.
She had blonde hair and was chewing bubble gum.

"So what are you doing during the storm," she said bravely. "I have the days off." she winked at him and Jake just smiled.

"Just hanging out with Danielle here." he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and smiled down at Dany.

"Hi I'm Dany," Dany said smiling at the woman named, Kristen.

"Isn't that a guy name?" she laughed and put their food in plastic bags. "I mean why would you call yourself-"

Without another world Dany left Jakes grasp and grabbed the bags. Dany started for the door and Jake paid as soon as possible. Kristin smiled at him all flirtatiously. "So if you wanna come over to my place-"

"Sorry but I don't hook- I don't mate with random people I just met. I also don't hang out with people who make fun of my friends." he said, then ran after Dany.

Hi guys! I actually kind of liked this chapter because I wish I had the guts to ditch places.
